Well, here's the deal, in the extended databases this billionaire dude is not a "sugardaddy". I think the easiest way might just be to pick a random club in Blue Square North/South, edit in a Foreground Sugar Daddy, have him affect the starting transfer/wage budget, and then start the game with that as the only change. If we really wanted to, we could even change the Chairman to someone like Paul Allen who is extremely rich, owns several professional sports teams, and has shown a willingness in the past to spend like crazy for them.

Should take 5 minutes tops on the editor.

Bikkembergs is in the game, but it looks lie SI decided not to bother giving Fossombrone the underwriter sugar daddy status ... I'd say setting that right would make more factual sense than pairing Paul Allen with a random English team from the conference ... EDIT: and Bikkembergs has actually invested significantly in a youth setup at Fossombrone [in real life], so that is something else to consider ...

that's my opinion ... but, if you're making the edit file (good onya for it), then it's inevitably your call ...

Problem is that you'd have to edit a database that's already been edited by someone else to include Serie D as opposed to just making 1 or 2 changes to the standard 10.3 database. Also, Serie D has like 10 different groups and looks very confusing.

yup, that's fair enough ... I guess we'll need to find a conference team that wears pea-soup green, to go with the Xbox sponsorship Paul Allen would bring with him ...

First season in Blue Square South just seems horrible, even with a "sugar daddy". I started this post to say "**** it, I'll do it", but man... I really don't want to.

Alright, I've started the game. I'll start a new thread after I play a bit of the season with screen shots and stuff. Basic information: We are Chelmsford City in the Blue Square South. Our name is Pablo Castro, we have recently defected from Cuba and despite our claims of being a great manager in our home nation of Cuba, the only job we can get is in the 6th Tier of English Football. I edited in a foreground sugar daddy for our chairman, but have made no other changes. Loaded leagues are England all the way down to Blue Square Regional, the top leagues in Spain, Italy, and possibly Germany just for realism in the Champions League if we ever get there, and 3 tiers of the Scottish Pyramid because those players might be useful.

Oh, I'll have the first season done in a few days easy.

I didn't get to the first friendly, so I just restarted and took out Scotland. I figure the less leagues the better because we don't know what kind of computer everyone has. Now to do the worst thing in the world: try to find some ****ty players for the worst league in England.
