yea that transfer fee, which i heard to be around 16 million pounds, and up to 20 million depending on other factors is a lot. but if that's the going rate, then that's the going rate. i don't blame arsenal...they've saved so much money over the past few years and have been on a strict budget....props for wenger for pulling it off.
now there should be some insurance if bergkamp retires or if wiltord leaves. anyways, good signing for arsenal. kinda shocked me as it happened out of the blue, really.

ive seen him play around 5 games. I said he doesnt deserve a higher price tag than ronaldinho, but we'll see. If Arsenal have been saving there money this long, the must have a good feeling about this guy.

That videos just show goals of Reyes, Reyes is not only "goals"...
His main weapon is the skill, he is class, with the ball in his feet he is electric. I think the most skilled (magic) player in the world is Zidane, if there are players near Zidane, Reyes is one of them.
He is fast, is not a big scorer, but he scores 5-10 goals per season. Amazing throwing penalties.
Last Liga Sevilla vs Real Madrid ended 4-1 for Sevilla, Reyes destroyed the Madrid defense, Reyes forced 3 yellow cards of Madrid players, and scored 1 goal and was a nightmare for R.Madrid everytime he had the ball. i Have not seen more Reyes matches this year.
His negative points?
- not a good header
- sometimes doesnt know when to pass the ball, too many driblings maybe, that can be solved with experience.
There is any position free in Arsenal for Reyes ? Left Winger , Forward?
- He will play with number "9"
- He debuted in spanish la Liga with 16 years old in Sevilla.
- I bet 95% his english is **** (worse than mine for sure!)

pires has the left side locked down. maybe he can play up front between the midfield and henry i guess. or on the right and move up ljungberg? or do the same with pires? i always wanted to see pires play a free role.
