Jono82 isn't a true Everton fan, for the reason being that true Evertonians hate Man United more than any other team, including Liverpool. The only time Everton fans hate their city rivals is when they contest the scouse derby games.

Anyway this is the World Cup... how on earth are Everton going to attact big name players after the recent season they had?

Did anyone read Neutral LFC's "essay"? A bit weird. Owen did have bad game, and he should have gone off for Fowler, Vassell did well, in the second half England were nowhere to be seen. Not that they were really dangerous in the first half, but at least there was pressure. I also cannot understand why you would sit and wait if you're only 1-0 up, ManUtd also have a tendancy to do that if it gets tough, it doesn't work, even in the first half I thought that England needed a goal to really control the game comfortably. It's getting tougher now, get a result against Argentina (draw) and a win over Nigeria and you're almost there. All in all it didn't look great.

First half belonged to England and the second half belonged to Sweden. A very divided match this was. Quite exciting though.

We would have won it if we had had Anders Svensson in the starting eleven. He is our most creative player and the most important one for our offense. Our stupid head coaches keep starting him on the bench anyway. They suck!
Just look at how we played in the first half, we had nothing and that was not because england played well, we sucked. But directly when Anders got on the pitch we turned the match around and should even have scored the winner! Damn why did it have to be Lucic on that break away...

And M-O-M was the Patrik Andersson stand in, Andreas Jakobsson. I bet they start him on the bench in the next game.

he played way better than Magnus Svensson.He should be in the starting 11 against Nigeria.

About Carlos*obsson he played awesome if P.Andersson start he should play with Carlos*obsson in and Johan on the bench with Lucic and Mellberg as wingers.

Lets hope Ljunberg will make a better performance against Nigeria.

If Anders Svensson starts LJUNGBERG will have a much better chance of making success...
LJUNGBERGs problem is that he lacks creativity of his own and needs others to set him up...

Daniel Andersson shouldn't even had been in the squad in the first place.
Linderoth is a very good balance player and is important for the team even though he still is very young.
And once again.. His name is LJUNGBERG not Ljunberg...

My favourite Swedish starting eleven (with my own picked squad ofcourse) would look like this, it would be very offensive:

Yeah, and I would tell Hedman to never kick the ball away, just roll it out to the defenders cause he always gives it to the opponent. If he wouldn't listen I'd put in Isaksson instead.
The style of play would be offensive short passing with using the wings a lot with crosses from Blomqvist and Alexandersson. I would also try to set up Ljungberg with his runs on the depth.
