Should of been wrapped up in the first half. Played too many God damn long balls when we could of totally out passed them
In the second half they forgot how to play football
I thought they would of learnt that you should never try and sit on a 1-0 lead. Micheal Owen was a joke, he did absolutally nothing all match and I can't believe they subbed Vassell off !?!? He was out most creative player
Anyway so much for the World Cup, we needed to win that match... Bring on next season

i agree with hermolt and a few other comments as well .. England were lucky to get a draw .. the game did suck esp between sol's goal and the equalizer ..they should have pushed scholes foward more.. if any one sucked it was scholes !! owen cant do anything when the ball isnt put through for him ... they really missed beckham when he went off to !! they may just cause an upset though against nigeria who looked shabby today ! argies though are gonna be tough to beat !

Yep, we threw away our chance. I was dissapointed that Becks didn't figure much. Owen was starved, vassell created good openings.
It was like watchin a team who really didn't have a clue what to do!! They played so stupidly, they looked hapless to say the least in teh second half. Only 1 or 2 shots, n Sweden took their chance. Although, after Rio ducked out of the way instead of headering away alexandersson's shot, Seaman had already had his view obscured, and bang. 1-1.
I get sooo frustrated watching England, no other team could frustrate their fans as much as this! Individually, they are all superb players, there is no denying it. However, collectively, they fail to deliver on every ocassion.
This leads to thinking about the Argentina game, will it be owen n sheringham? Owen n Vassell?? Fowler??
I really like Vassell, i reckon he's faster than owen, he's got more skills, so look out for the lad in teh future!!

It's because of sh!t like this I am always ambivalent about the English national team, despite being born and bred in England - because since Digger in the 80s/early 90s, everytime something goes wrong with England a Liverpool player gets the blame - even if he's the frickin' EUROPEAN PLAYER OF THE YEAR.
Yeah, Owen was quiet - maybe that's because HE DIDN'T GET ANY SERVICE! I love how everyone is praising Vassel - what did he do that was creative? How many scoring chances did he set up? Shots on goal? Every time he got the ball he put his head down and ran for the corner flag - did he even look to set up Owen? No, Owen is the #1 striker on this England team, I know it's hard for non-Liverpool supporting "Ingurlund" fans to understand this, but if he was Argentinian and played for Lazio or something everyone would be going ape-sh!t over him.
Of course, the fact that Paul Scholes did NOTHING for an attacking midfielder, or that Owen Hargreves spent the match passing backwards or sideways, that Danny Mills is absolutely ****, and that Ashley Cole was a defensive liability (he should be a left winger) doesn't come into play.
England drew because Owen is crap - good, send him and Heskey (who is also crap I suppose) home then, I'm sure Ayala and Walter Samuel will heave a huge sigh of relieve and that way they won't get injured and Liverpool suffer.
Let England start Darius Vassel upfront because he's so good - he's scored a ton of goals in competetive matches for England, right? He's one of the leading scorers in the EPL right? He's won a trio of domestic trophies right? He's single-handedly won an FA Cup right? I'm sure he's had a hattrick against Germany and scored against teams like Argentina, France & Brazil. Then when he gets the ball, puts his head down, runs to the corner flag and does two step overs before getting dispossesed we can call him a "creative player". I'm sure ManYoo, Arsenal and all the top teams in the world are banging on Aston Villa's doors to get this guy.....
