Replacing team selection flags/badges

For Team Selection logos (the ones you see when you select a team) are located: data/gui/teams/xx.big
open the .big files with BigGui or EA graph, and export the .fsh files. Open\export the .fsh files with FSHTool, then you will get a new folder with logo image and the alpha file.


For popups logos (the ones you see at the start of the match) are located: data/zdata_05.big
open the .big files with BigGui or EA graph, and export the .fsh files. Export\import the logos with FSHed.

team select logos

Can any of you help me with team select logos - I have moved teams to a few different leagues and have got the teams working in the team select screen but when you select you team their team badges don't show and just shows the backgrond. I know that to change the logos you edit the gui\teams\ xx file but need to know how to make these logos appear when the teams are moved to a different league. Any help much appreciated.

well... i moved teams with the ecp dbedit to export it to access...
there's a file called *.apt in the data/gui/*.big...
extract taht file with the biggui...
now open it with your hexeditor....
at the end of teh file there are the id numbers of the teams of that league...
just change the id number of the team you took off to the id number of the team you added to that league. Now import it to the .big file, and that's it!:)

Just tried changing the apt file with winhex by changing the team ids but now the game just crashes when it comes to the team select screen. What i have done is i've moved 7 teams into the Premiership with ecdb and microsoft access and left 3 current prem teams in there. The 3 teams that were originally there the badges show up fine but i can't see the rest and it just appears blank. Mini kits work and league stubs so its just these badges i need to fix. Anyone got anymore ideas?? You can contact me on msn and help me if you can: [email protected].

Well all i done was change the team id numbers by highlihting the team no and typing in the new id. Is this right or should i ben doing it another way??? Whats ur msn so i can add u m8 and u can help me in there if its no trouble.

o files

Finally i've got it working!! Was down to the spaces in them so thanks for your help bud. Now i have one last problem with them - Some of the badges have parts missing :( I need some help how to edit the .o file for them. I tried the above example pasting the badges original data into the .o fie where the post above says to but the game crashes. Any ideas anyone?

The Hedgehog, is you change oly the texture for the animation, will they still work ok, i noticed that the logos are 3d, and won't they look strange?

well well well...after so many efforts trying to import a badge..i achieved NOTHING :( maybe i am stupid know knows!? :) So you good people...i am lloking for someone who has a really great patience to teach me how to import a badge through msn!if someone of u has soooo great patience pls send me email! i am desperate! :)

so does it mean that if have png image then i can change the logo

i notice 1 thing that is if u do not have the right type of image the creation center will hang too..

plus the logo will not come out when playing the game

i know where r the file at. as i edit my own logo myself just that the logo does not come in the game n cause my creation center to hang...
