Given that you are clearly talking about me, I want just to make this point clear. In MESSI turf thread you posted 4 times (almost 4/7 of total posts of that page) the same things saying that junjoong is the best turf. I don't really mind if MESSI has a rock heart, but I still find a bit disrespectful going on telling him basically that his turf is s**t (not directly, but that's the way it sounds). If someone told you the same (and that's what you are proving now with your frustrated post I have partially quoted now), you surely would have got angry because you spent time on making that patch. In that case you missed a bit of common sense, especially because HE is a new editer and, when a new editer make new patches, he need all the approval he can get and all the tips people want to give him. So next time, instead of telling him that junjoong turf is perfect, give him a lot of useful tips. If its creation is very bad (and I have seen a lot of bad creations in my fifa editing life), don't tell him directly or he will be very discouraged: try to make your best to help him improvingregularcat;2803197 said:

Coming to the rest of your post, many times I had people not respecting my editing work or never happy of what I did: the only way to move on in this editing business (if we can call it "business") is reading all posts and taking the good of them, those who can help you improving your editing skills and forgetting the others
Just to tell you a recent example there was someone in my Cinematics Patch 10 thread asking if that was MonkeyDragon's patch...
You are making a huge work for this game and you are one of the most talented guys I have seen in this forum since ages, so don't get stuck with these minor things and these brainless users and keep the great work!!!

but you being who you are here, i accept anything you say to me.

i know how i acted in me10ssi's thread, my opinion is my opinion.
my first post was its nice, but junjoongs is the best.
if someone said that to me, id work harder to make mine better,
not start crying & not release it.
i also told him if he needed help w/ anything he could ask me.
i told him what files & the locations of those files to edit for color,
so the pitch wouldnt look like dirt.
he never bothered to.
i wasnt intentionally trying to hurt his feelings, i also apologized.
the thing i like most about his pitch is hes actually trying to make
something for this game.
as far as proving im upset about peoples comments, im not.
i dont mind bad comments as thats how you build better work.
these people who tell you things w/o any knowledge of anything except playing the game should say nothing at all, they should be happy there is someone around to give them something for their game.

I've told the story before, but as youngster (to Fifa) I requested a boot from the top bootmaker of the day, and I never got a reply. I decided I would learn to make my own damned boots... asked specific questions and discovered that O-Edit could view the player model, found the area for boots, looked at original EA boots to figure out what went where - (I think you know how that story ends...

Nice patch, just played a quick game it's good! But is there any way to change the brightness in the grass_lighting files, or any other way to decrease the snow brightness?
Oh and is it possible to make it only apply to winter mode, so we can have normal turf when it's not on winter mode?

for the brightness yea, i have files i didnt release in the rar file.

but you can use the normal lighting for day & night & use the snow for sunset & overcast.

Yeah if you could have Damien upload the brightness files that'd be sweet and i noticed that the snow is actually brighter when your in night time mode or overcast, it seems the brighter the stadium lights, the brighter the pitch and it's just white as white, lemme know once files are upped =]

Well, I prefer the one by fifaccitiu (the one in the FifaMania Superpatch 10 screenshot) too, even if it is not finished yet. But I think that regularcat too is very good: they are two different ways to consider the same thing: not bad at all
