Hi regularcat, first i want to thanks for your effort to make the game better. I've downloaded and tried v8 ai, indeed the game is much more real than EA's lame ai.

Here are my feedbacks on this version...
Likes:
(1) Star players' skill move are much more useful than ever
(2) Players actually trya steal the ball when it's lost / when opponents pass
(3) No more stupid passes

Great if they can improve on:
(1) Smarter finishing on a 1v1 striker v keeper situation than just shoot right into his arms
(2) Powerful shots - I rarely able to score top corner goals even from star players, most of the goals kinda feel like either the ball is heavy or the player didn't shoot it hard enough. (long shots most likely end up landing in the bottom of the goal)
(3) Game difficulty - Ye I read the previous discussions, my concern is that many time the opponent's players just run into my defenders with in legendary difficulty. My suggestion would be to improve opponent CPU's attacking AI to at least give them more chances to shoot, like their star players should able to do skill moves to get pass defenders too and they could pass around to create more chances for long shot.

Nice regularcat gameplay it's great ! He did a hard work on this he is awesome .
You are an expert on this you know how to handle all this stuff so i womder if it's possible that you can make the goalkeeper's reaction more better and make him fly i mean a realistic diving cuz everytime they cpu shoots at the very corner from my net none of the goalkeepers can get the ball is too high for them because they just slide and not jump on the air ,so that would be amazing . Thanks for your patches .

@ Shek: try playing on World Class. It's more difficult. And you can change the shot powers, as described in the readme.

Great AI

Hi Regularcat. I want to congratulate you again for your amazing work on editing Fifa's AI. This version is even more realistic than the last one and your animations patch is an excellent complement for it. I have only played 6 matches but I can say that I see some improvements from v.7 (and v.7 was my favorite AI).

I have just one question: I browsed the text but I couldn't find the Injuries parameters (Injury percentage, Chance of getting injured...etc.). Did you replaced them or erased them?

no i left them out, whatever is not read from my ai will be read from the ai in the config.dat & the ini.big ai files.

add them from my older versions.

Thanks for your answer. And what happens if the AI files in config.dat and ini.big are not the same? Does that affect your patch performance? Sorry to bother...

na they will be the same & you arent bothering me.

& to answer your support forum ?, set them to te max in game.
his patch is made to use w/ depth of field, but i turn it off & set my 2 gt240s to max settings.

hi regularcat, i love your gameplay, but dont you think its too easy?, i mean, its very realistic but i think its a little easy,because i was playing in professional and with your gameplay i have to up to legendary, i think you should improve ai, more difficult, its just an opinion,dont take it bad, anyway i think its the best gameplay, i tried lots of gameplay, and i choose yours, cheers from uruguay :)

i can make it harder but that will lead to unrealistic gameplay.

which is something i dont care to create.

if you wish to play a more difficult ai, then you must use onsche's.

i dont play like most people, i dont kick the ball up to my forwards & try to bust through the defense.

i try to play tactfully & rather than do the above, i like to try & break down the defense.

i dont press all match & chase the ball possessor constantly, i just stay in formation & mark my man.

i try to play the game like you see on tv.

i refuse to play any other way.

no matter what ai is used it will be easy, i can win using osche's as well by a 2-3 goal margin.
