Why must you guys do this to me.. You want me to have a heart attack or what?

Very original :browsmiley:

Gotta love CR9 (unless your kp40 ;) ). And did the people of mallorca actually applaud him?? if so, my hats of to the fans

Higuian scores his goal as well, was a bit worried that he wouldn't get one.

Now I'll just wait and see what reason bybuti gives as to why we won by 4.. (Y)

HALA MADRID!!

People of Mallorca = 33% --> Mallorquinistas, 33% --> Madridistas and 33% --> Barcelonistas, so yes, they aplause him... the madridistas.

Cheaters!!!!

1) The ref gave Madrid all the calls.
2) Ronaldo used robotic legs to catch the first goal.
3) Mallorca was paid off to not play UCL
4) Mallorca should have had a penalty
5) Florentino spent 250m

BTW

Ronaldo had a very good game, he caused Mallorca tons of trouble. I must say though that for me your most crucial player is Iker, his talent is phenomenal, he saved some good shots when it could have been 2-0.

But Madrid did what it has done all season fought and fought and eventually they broke through Ronaldo. It was all Real after the first goal. Although Kudos for Mallorca who showed glimpses of why they are in the position of a potential UCL spot, before it was long balls and today they tried to do their normal match against you.

Its come down to what I knew and kind of am worried about, the Sevilla match. It really could go either way, our playersw are gonna have a lot of pressure.

Well enjoy the win, we'll see Sunday what destiny awaits us both.

is that 32 goals in 33 games now? Provided he stays injury free its sure going to make the Ballon d'Or a lot more interesting next year. What a player, better then Messi if your asking me.

We'll it is interesting, I think both Messi and Ronaldo have both shown they are superior to all players. Ronaldo has 32 in 33, and Messi 44 goals total this season:icon_spin::icon_spin: I don't think even CR did that at his best year for you guys.

But I think Messi is better than Ronaldo, because of his finess, some of his finishes are soft and delicate, like the game is in slow motion for him. Not to mention his ability to move out of impossible places with the ball at his feet.

I must say though that either player deserves the Ballon d'Or, the only sad thing is its World Cup year. I think neither of them will get it, the Ballon d'Or is going to the captain of the World Cup champion. Might even be Lucio if he lifts both the UCL and the World Cup this year lolz :icon_spin::icon_spin:

Either way, I predict neither is Ballon d'Or winner this year, because Argentina and Portugal don't have the squads to win the World Cup this year.

Yeah true that, Argies got more than enough takent to take it all, but man that coach.....

Well fellas, Cules and Merengues this is is! the deciding weekend to the most loopsided league in the history of Spain is upon us....Im still in awe of what both teams have done, 93 and 92 points is just unreal...and what's more unreal is that things are not settled yet and more points might be requiered....that is just insane!

Cheers to both and lets hope for a weekend of thrills!

Argentina has the squad.. Is the coach who is the problem.
Argentina has the players, but Maradona doesn't always pick the best players for the job ... I mean, if he keeps calling up and starting players like Jonás Gutiérrez, while not calling up or not starting players like Cambiasso and Zanetti, then I don't think they'll get far ... mind you, they have a piss-easy group and section of the draw, so their first challenge may only come when they're vying for a place in the semis ...

you think it'll be done after this weekend? no final matchday drama? so either Sevilla stops us, or it's done? I think you're right ... Mallorca away was supposed to be your stumbling block, but your star man brought you through it ... despite their loss, Mallorca are still snapping at Sevilla's heels for that last Champions League spot, so it will be a challenge for Barça to go to Seville to beat a Sevilla side motivated by the return to Champions League football ... I'm not one to worry much about it, though ... but I do agree with the notion that this weekend is the decider ...

No my friend; not a chance. There wont be any excitement on the last weekend, if Sevilla cant make you drop points I think we can call it a day...because Valladolid will be nothing short of a victory parade for you guys ....It will be exciting, the type of weekend that makes you remember why you follow the beautiful game

****. Now, we have to finish the job in Sevilla.

We win, we celebrate; we lose, you celebrate.

I don't have a single hope on Bilbao. I was hoping that you were going to drop points in Mallorca, but you didn't. So, now we have to finish it by ourselves.

Don't be impressed that much.

Ronaldo has scored like 4 goals against Basel, 2-3 against Tenerife and so on. Most of his goals has been against 'small' teams when Madrid easily won the games. He hasn't been as decisive as Messi. Ok, he scored a hat-trick last night, but other than that, he has just helped his team improve the GA. Most of the times, he hides in big matches.

While, Messi has decided and won many matches by himself.

You're right but, Barça has Xavi. Messi without him isnt the same ( like you could see in Inter's CL first leg. Madrid has who? Sergio Ramos? lol. Who makes long range passes to Ronaldo . Its more difficult to be a great player in Madrid than Barça, and this is the first season of Ronaldo. But i must confess that Messi's a monster this season specialy.

Thats just stupid, one of messi's best performances ever was against Stuttgart and Against Zaragoza, both without Xavi.

yeah, but neither Stuttgart nor Zaragoza are "big" teams, meaning they weren't exactly "big" matches ... well Stuttgart, I suppose, has the Champions League argument ... but if Cristiano scoring against Tenerife isn't a big deal, I don't see how Messi's performance against Zaragoza could be considered that much more significant ...

Both are different players who play in different positions. They are both fantastic players but Ronaldo is more complete and messi is more effective.

Aimar's playing well and Maradona who dont have many players like him even call him. That says all.

God I hope Maradona reads this! I've always been a fan of el payasito, I loved him when he played for Valencia. Do you guys play him in a free role behind the 2 forwards?

I think Argentina need him or Riquelme in a free role behind el pipita and la pulga. That would free Messi so he hasn't have to come to midfield to recieve a decent pass. I hope Maradona doesn't go to South Africa without Airmar or Riquelme, and also taking Gaby Milito, but Maradona is a stubborn Carlos ass and thats why they will fail...

I disagree with buti, madrid its performing well, 92 points, but his style its diferent. They play to score and Barça score while playing.

I didn't say that, i mean Messi can shine without Xavi.

people talk about Xavi's influence because with Argentina, there is no Xavi, and Messi has not [yet] really impressed at the international level ... difficult to say how accurate that is ...

Can he consistently perform well for a few matches without Xavi? We'll find that out during the world cup :)
