not so sure it was a bad move for him, after all with the money being talked about by the new investors your talking about one of the richest teams in the world. This bid just proves that £32mil, there only going to get bigger and better from here.

bohoooo.... yeah right, he must crying his heart out and his agent wiping the tears.... like i said last year it was a matter of time mr. bycicle doing a brasileña to your club.......

oh and i forgot aparently cristiano is already tied to madrid for next year, they have bouth his car and all already.... :D

Gene Reginato

Youth Team
I think this is the best move possible for Robinho's carreer.
City is a team who will treat him well, he has Elano (an old friend) playing there and he will be in no pressure to win the title this year.

Plus a ton of cash, of course.

I think Chelsea would be the wrong move from the start. The only think they could offer him was Scolari, who could make him a better player, I think, but he would not be able to ask for a starting position, as every player there are stars and are well estabilished in the team.

"Él chico tiene un problema anímico más grave de lo que yo creía. Incluso me dijo que se iba a Brasil, que no volvía a España y que dejaba el fútbol. Cuando ha llegado la oferta del City, él me ha dicho entre lágrimas: 'presidente acéptela' y es lo que hemos hecho"

:( poor guy

Actually, I have to agree that quote there makes it seem rather a serious problem, but let's be honest he brought a lot of this upon himself you know

The agent screwed up Robinho in this. But look at it on the bright side....We got 42 mil for a very unsettled player. ANDDDDDD, Sneijder will get nr.10 ;)

It s*cks that Robinho leaves. He is my favourite player, but his mentality isnt good. He isnt a professional. He cries, because Real Madrid want to get C.Ronaldo. And because they cant give him the 6 mil he wants.(after tax) I mean come on. What do you expect. Good luck in the EPL. I really hope you can succeed. Shame that you went for the money.

'As for the issue regarding the website, Real are well aware this was a regrettable accident by an external supplier which was rectified as soon as it was brought to our attention and not a single shirt was sold.'

Gawd, whoever decided to put that on the megastore should be marching down London naked. What an embarassment.
But I'm happy Joey gets to keep his starting place for now.

The Von Trapps
Raffie gets #23 ... excellent!

truth be told, it could have gone either way with 10 and 23 ... with Sneijder already occupying the latter, it wouldn't have been a surprise if he wanted to stick to it and make the newer arrival take 10 -- you know, like how Van Nistelrooij decided to stick with #17 despite the #9 freeing up ...

but, for some reason, Raffie's just been brilliant when wearing 23 on his back, whereas things have never quite clicked for him with 10 ...

works out well for everyone ... if you believe in that sort of thing ...

Ruud seem like that number dosen't matter. He ok with his #17. Me I would like him to have the #9 but if he continue to score goals the jersey number dosen't matter.
