eh, well we did need someone like Vdv, but like arnau said, Granero could have done the job althought I dont consider his skill level to be with that of VdV at least not yet anyway...I dont believe Carlos of what Marca say, they are pro-madrid somedays, and others they are anti madrid....I rather read AS, they are a little better althought still speculative

Yeah what a load of bollocks from Blatter....He trully knows how to be an idiot, it takes skill to be that stupid...It would be funny in a bad way, if we ended up signing no-one, that is a real possiility given our rather horrible history with summer transfers

just an example, güiza have to emigrate to turkish league because here dont give a important chance (CL team/salarial) for him, and we give a chance to foreight players who a lot of cases dont show anything (Güiza socred 27 goals with mallorca!! also 2 in euro being reserve!!) madrid must put granero on the pich and leave van der vaarts ronaldos and Co speculations.

other example: GAGO, 25 mil. and De la red from young teams its better.

Damn guys it has been slow as **** here huh? Well I have been having a nice vacation but back to Madrid new now and I will start it with a transfer on someone other than Ronaldo:biggrinx:

From another forum I have read, according to Cedena Ser we do have a deal with VDV but it's for next season. If we were to sign him this season it would cost 20 million euros where as next season we would get him for 1 million euro according to a cluase in his contract:icon_spin:Not sure if that's true but if so than that's a really good deal. By next season we will most likely be in need of a mid like him. Could be a nice replacement for Guti. Also his grandfather spoke about the rumor and stated that when there is smoke their is fire. When asked about Atleti, he stated that VDV wanted to join a big team and that instead of joining Atleti he should just stay in Germany LOL:icon_spin:

Also Arsenal and Spurs are offering a crazy amount of money for DLR, something like 15 million POUNDS. Hmm....it's interesting but not sure if it's worth it to cash in. Also Arnau Gago>everyone, I love the guy.

What' sup Soc? its good that you are back cause indeed this place was rather dead, but I fgured it was the offseason...

On some more news VdV has said he cant speak about his current future plans, so there might be some truth to the story that he has a partial agreement with us....then Marca is saying that along with VdV we might get Hunteelaar. I believe this is a plan B in case that Ronaldo deal flops out...Robihno unfortunately looks on his way out and there is serious talk of Soldado going to Getafe for 8M, that's two less than what we wanted...not a horrible deal IMO...

Also Gago has progressed ages, if he keeps this up he could turn into the next Redondo...what a dream that would be, and unlike last year we got De La Red who could cover his position pretty well...I have to say, I would HATE to see De La Red go, I am a big fan of his and I think he can make it big in our squad...

Indeed, I have been on vacation for most of this offseason and still kind of am on vacation although I am back home now. Just not working quite yet:innocent_smile_1: Only thing is that I have not keep up too much news on Madrid so really I don't have a good idea of everything that is going on.

Yea, VDV came out and stated that he would stay at Hamburg for this year....hmm sounds like there might be some truth to the rumor. Of course if another big team comes in right now and offers 20+ million euros they could get him right now unless he rejects and is waiting till next season to join us.

I really think we should focus selling our players to the EPL. Negredo is linked to Newcastle for a damn good amount, 15 million pounds for DLR is a good amount although I am still not sure if we should really sell him or not, Baptista needs to be sold to some team as does Saviola and Soldado. Seriously the amount of money that EPL teams throw around is just amazing, we really need to sell our guys there.

Speaking of DLR how do you think the midfiled will look? From what I have read J. Garcia will be used more of as a 4th choice CB than an actual midfielder so our starting midfiled might look like this.

Guti--Wesley
--Gago--

Backup could be

Granero--DLR
---Diarra---

About Robinho, I really doubt the club will sell him before we get C. Ronaldo. If we get him at all. Think about it, we should only get somone who is better than Robinho and that is C. Ronaldo so it makes sense to sell him if we get Ronaldo. I still think the only thing missing after all this is a backup RB and a young ST.

Humm, I dont know man, I wouldnt count on Granero staying, I just dont think he is, but we will see, I would play him there no problem, and I think i would play De La Red more as a all-terrain guy, all over the pitch, he seems that type of player but he also has good creativity....

oh and great news, I hear Salgafo might finally be on his way out to Queens Park Rangers in England....great news, we need a RB tho, I am surprised that hasnt been mentioned at all...Thank you Michel you did well for us!

change del a red place, he play very like x.alonso put him in the same line than diarra. and granero more in a center (or choise guti/sneijder for this place) esteban can also play in both wings and AM.

Big news folk....kind of sad news but I saw this coming....Granero has just signed a five year deal to play for Getafe. the amount of the sale was undisclosed but Madrid have included a buy back clause in case they want him next year, as with most of those transfers we do he wont be able to play against us......a shame really :(

what do you mean? you mean Sevilla wanted Granero too?....I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope we dont let De La Red go....if we do im gonna be mad

yeh sad news about granero, but i read somewhere that we can buy him back any time over the 5 year period which is a very good deal if its true.

i hope de la red is going to stay, i would rather have him then baptista to be honest,.

doesnt seem like this ronaldo saga is coming to an end, but robinho has come out and said he wants to stay!

Cant remember the last time we brought someone back under that clause! He's pretty much gone forever. Thats the way things work with us.

no we just bought Javi Garcia back from Osasuna, he was transfered and we bought him back at 4.2M...so it could work, I just think Granero is a great talent.....great news about Robihno, I am glad he's getting that sorted out, now on to pre-season!

and here a picture from the team concentration in Algavbre, Portugal....

i hope Salgado goes to QPR! he has been great for Madrid but i think his time is up at the club.

i cant believe that Robinho is looking at leaving. after all Madrid did to get him here, and all the bull**** about "only wanting to play for Madrid". PLUS the fact that he's super-calo-freaking-awesome!, i hope he stays. Plus i dont think the EPL would suit his type of play anyway.

so i say/;
let go of C.Ronaldo,
keep Robinho,
get Huntelaar/(Ruud+Raul replacement/backup),
maybe TRY for VdV, Guti is getting on in years.
and if we neeeeeeeed a winger, try for Quaresma
thats IF we have to buy anyone.

Funny how Robinho is committed to Real one minute and then his agent says he wants to go to Chelski the next isn't it?

Anyway hopefully we can offload the conniving little git to you soon and then hopefully Robinho will come to us. Our number 7 shirt is waiting, Robinho would be a smash hit at Old Trafford.

Plus if Robinho has a clause for £120M how do Real think that they should expect to buy Ronaldo for any less? United would be daft to not consider that.
