its bull crap Mijatovic has already come out and said why wiould we wanna sell him, since he has started every game for that he has been available to play in.

i dont know about the Diarrah thing, think about it? hasnt Schuster started Diarrah in every game that he has been able to play? that clearly shows the coaching staff believes in him, he is a key piece of the system in place, so unless we are getting a young Makelele back, there is no reason to get rid of Diarrah....I would offload Baptista, and Soldado (that is unfortunate, he never got a chance) but they are both good players is just unfortunate they dont fit in with Schuster

not sure about Soldado, but baptista defenetly, he is a talent and is just bieng wasted sitting on the bench. it would be a good idea to try and recoupe some of the money we payed for him. Soldado is probably the only natural replacement to van the man we have in the squad ( Saviola and Higuain can play there but they are more of second strikers)

this is the probabl line up 2night.

Casillas, ramos, Pepe, Cannavaro, Marcelo, Diarra, Guti, Robinho,Gago, Van Nistelrooy, Raul.

Van Nistelrooy was niggled in midweek, so it might be saviola starting instead but not sure.

What about the whole Altidore thing? Just heard from the commentators on GolTV that the meeting between RM and RB is official. Supposedly we've been following him and the last game the US played against S. africa was wirtnesses by us and that it confirmed we should go after him. They liked what they saw. I for one, think that if we ever get him he'll rot on the bench since we'll pick up another established start striker next season ( I predict)....well you know how it goes. And that whole Milan, Ramos thing. Don't think it'll happen unless we use Ramos to deal for Kaka! So far my 3 untouchables are Casillas, Ramos, Robinho. We should never deal these 3....not for many years at least.

yeah it does look serious on the altidore front. looks gd, not seen much mls but theres enough hype. and good shout on the three untouchables, the faces of real madrid for the next decade

jozy wont have to contribute for a few years at least, he's just 18. I figure they will bring him aboard to learn the ropes from the top two champions league scorers for a couple seasons, then when ruud and raul's careers are winding down, he'll jump in and be ready. At the most he'll be 20 and a full fledged starter for us

It'd be sweet to have an american play for us I must say. I hope he has a future for us. Haven't seen him too much but he must have quite a bit of talent. Man, this murcia game is painful to watch. I actually started playing video games during half time and really didn't want to stop. Started watching the game again in the 54th minute....snooze. We look uninspired. Notice how this always happens to us after international play?

premiership please take note of guti's downfall. aggression. he usually gets subbed around the 70 min mark because his legs are not up to speed. ah well, settle for a draw, maybe even a loss. no creativity, every one is tired

Honestly, I've seen Altidore play live and the guy looks good... he also paired well with Angel in NY.

That said, I can't imagine him being at the Madrid level... I could see him at a mid-table team, but Madrid? Seems a bit of a stretch...

Yeah I think Altidore should be a LONG term project, of course we are trying to find, someone like Messi, so, that is the root of this...

About the game today...what in the hell happened, we started out beautifly, and then we just poofed out, I think it was actually disgusting how we let Murcia get back in the game....Also it is important to note IMO that even when we were playing well Ramos was having a hideous game, Cannavaro had a great game and so did Pepe to an extend. Raul, Robihno and Rudd were gonne and dissapeared. Marcelo was making a lot of marking mistakes, and Guti, well that was just stupid what he did, and he fully deserved the card....

Missed the game, but by the sounds of it, i was lucky.

this is typical of us this season after international breaks. i dont blame the players especially the ones who played on wednesday no matter how fit you are players need rest.

when is th next international break?

also anyone have any highlights?
