im starting to like playing valencia, i dont think we have loat at the mestilla in 3 or 4 years. scoreline reminds me of the 4-1 victory when valencia were playing in orange and zidane took on about 5 players then played portillo thorugh to slot it home. oh the memory's of good football are flooding back now. haha. we were calm and enjoyed destroying valencia. very patient and just knocking the ball around at ease. gago and diarra were demons in the middle and robinho is playing with a real fire in his belly. he is making runs all the time. he wants the ball and is playing for his team now not just him. AMAZING!

Great game indeed. Gago and Diarra looked good together, robinho is making me eat my words which is great and everyone geled. Is Ramos not the best rb in the world? I wouldn't choose anyone over him. He can do it all. Nce to see Raul score another one as well. We played a Valencia side who is in shambles right now so we need to take this match with a grain of salt but the goals and overall performance will, should do our confidance well for our game at the pizjuan. I hope we can remain this consistant.

I have to talk about this game agin, because quite simply our team performance can get no better.....Like orgullo said, i am trying to be measured in my enthusiasm, but remember that, in spite of the shambles that Valencia is facing, we played an extraordinary game, with passing of the likes we havent seen surely since the Villareal game...

Now:
Casillas, as amazing as it may be, this man IMO is quite simply THE BEST GK in the world at this time. He has been so superb when called upon, he demonstrated it today with a couple of great stop late in the game, when called upon he answers ALWAYS

Sergio Ramos is also IMO the best RB in the world and on his way to becoming one of the the true legends at the position, He scores, he defends, he fights and God he is consistent as they come...what a machine, my favorite Real madrid player at the moment

The rest of the team must be mentioned as such, as a team, because today we played THE total team effort. crisp passing, pinpoint acuracy in one occasion over 36 continuous touches, leading to a goal scoring oportunity....our defense, our poor defense was nothing but, there was a team effort in decidedly shutting down, as a team, any attemp valencia had....

The question now is....can we keep this up for any lenght of time...can we keep this up against a good Sevilla or even worse against a rabid stadium, in Athens when we visit for the CL....are we capable of doing this, more than once....and also looming, the happiness level of Wesley Sneijder and Drenthe, highly touted and suddenly they dont really matter that much...the basis of last year's team is making all the difference, the new signings, sulking in the bench....

No, actually if you read the post then you will see, that we have In my opinion two of the best in the world, Best Goalkeeper, and Best Right Back. Last time I checked a football match is played by 11 players versus 11....clearly 2 players dont add up to 'every position'

Dude I don't care what Valencia team we paly, we just beat them in their own home 1-5! I mean come on the Valencia fans hate us and we usually get rough treatment there, plus it's not like their team is full of nobodies. Futurmore we finally saw great passing and movement from the players. I feel like Peter from Office Space right now, "damn it feels good to be a gangsta". Anyway the first half brilliant with Metzelder missing our easiest chance:amika:The second half the game flow died down which was expected as the players started to rest for the Sevilla game but still Robinho got one to really kill Valencia off. First half is a must watch for everyone.

That was a heavy victory. Many of my norwegian Real-fans did thought you would have a bad season, but it's quite different.

I'm not taking anything away from our players. I am just pointing out that we played a very unusual Valencia who has been losing lately, sacked their coach and i sgoing through a rough patch spiritually. This can't be denied dude. It does make a difference. However, I still believe we would have beaten them at home even if they were on their game, but not by a 1-5 goals, most likely...then again you never know.
