Why are you posting about Henry in the Real Mierda thread?

Right, because all of the Madrid players stay on their feet all the time and accept every single referee's decision in every game.

If you talked any more out of your ass, you'd shit down the front of your shirt.

You're an idiot

damn a 20% increase in one year?

i take my hat off to perez for digging us out of that huge hole of debt we had a few years ago, its great to see we are so profitable

That's the thing with Perez. Most critisized him for the Zidane and Pavones policy but they overlooked what he did for the club in other areas that are actually more important to some degree. Yes, putiing together a balanced side to compete in all comps is great but what he did, bringing in profitable megastars, striking deals left and right and focus on marketing cannot be undervalued. Afterall, football is a business like any other. People are delusional saying that monery ruins the game. Sorry, the game is a business and Florentino knew that better than anyone. During the Florenteam years we didn't win squat but we fixed our books big time. We are now reaping the rewards that Florentino aimed for, whether directly or indirectly. If only the Galacticos would have worked out, Florentino could have been another Bernabeu (as someone here mentioned before) in terms of building the club bigger and bringing it to new heights, easily.

I must say I really really like this Madrid side. Total Football is a very appropriate term to describe our recent performances. Can't wait to play almeria at home....in 2 weeks....I hate International play sometimes

totally agree on the florentino issue he was agreat president if it wasnt for him we wouldnt be where we are right now, after santiago bernabue he is in my opinion the best president we have had.

he just took his galacticos policy too far at the end.

i think the internationals will have a bit of an effect on us, just like they did last year before we played zaragoza, just when we hit a bit of form the disturbed our flow a bit.

Jaouad, I don't quite get where you're coming from here. He's the biggest ****-talker on here. I have a lot of respect for most of the Madridistas here, and I engage in intelligent discussion with most of you. OrgulloPendejo just likes to start **** and say idiotic things to stir up trouble in both threads.

So I don't understand your use of the term "a bit rich coming from you", which means that somehow you are saying I am the one who is racist and fascist when OrgulloRacista was spouting fascist, nationalist and pro-Franco rhetoric from when he first got here. Maybe you misused the phrase?

Just wondering, what do you think of that Henry penalty?

I really have lost some respect for Henry. I mean all the talk about how he hates divers and cheaters only to do it at the WC against Spain and now the way he got the penalty ( kneeing the keeper in the face ) really says it all. Not sure if you were serious in your post or not, also not sure if Jaouadinho was here when OV singed up...and guys try to not drag this on anymore ( both in this forum and in the Barca forum, I only posted that gif because of my dislike for Henry..nothing to do with Barca really ).

i for one think is disgreaceful, i woulndt protest at all if he would get some ban games, he could really hurt the keeper, and know that i mention it , i tought this kinda plays got reviewed by uefa and players got suspended afterwards, about the bad call from the ref , many have concur if it was us at first sight we would have call it too, it was a really sneaky playact by henry.... but tell me , almost every player we idolize, is a sneaky bastard one time or another, some are hypocrites like henry , and some dont even have shame like robinho or alves....

That's very true ( especially Alves:D Dirty bastard ) but now maybe Henry should be keeping his mouth shut. Also to be fair to Robinho he has been going down a lot less now than when he first started here.

I'll ignore the troublemakers that show up from time to time to stir us up. Anyway, I am just hoping that Schuster has a talk w/ Robben and lets him know that excessive ball hogging and diving wont be tolerated.

THANK YOU!

I like Big Al, honest guy.......I was completelly fooled when the play happened I thought it was a penalty. Then on the replay I noticed henry actually looks back and makes sure his leg trails...That is dangerous play, just like if you where to bring your boots too high to the head or go in bottom first....I was really concerned because when they first showed the keeper he looked, dizzy and kind of like how Puerta looked when he first fell...I thought OH NO! ...but thank God he was ok....shame on Henry!, not the kind of thing from a world class player like himself.

But then; Ronaldihno did the classiest thing. He knew what Henry did wasnt right so after he scored the penalty he immediately ran up to the keeper to see if he was alright and shook his hand...now that is class

I agree. As much as I like the signing of Henry for his skill and what he brings to the table, I was never impressed by his attitude, and have never like Henry the person. Henry the footballer is a very rare package, but the cheating and diving while maintaining a holier-than-thou attitude is a bit much. Sort of like Steven Gerrard. I think it stems from the pressure of the English press, where the captain of a club like Arsenal has to decry diving, even though it's a part of his game.

I agree this was a dive, although I haven't seen a good clip of it, to be honest ( I had no access to football this past weekend since I was away :()

To me, it doesn't look like he left his leg out to knee the keeper, but to draw the contact. It was more of an unfortunate accident that he hit him in the face, and perhaps he should face the consequences for that.

Players look to draw contact in the penalty area all the time to look for penalties, and Henry does it a lot, but I don't see any malice in the play.

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Love the way we dominated the game, although we did start of slow, I was glad the team was able to come together and get the job done. Sniejder, What a goal he scored, and Raul too. Hey If Raul can keep up his game like this when he is being criticized then by all means, let the critisims be at its peak when he wanders off ;).

I still won't get my hope's completely up until we are able to play games like these on a regular basis. It is unfortunate that we have a break, I only hope that when the team is back together, they don't miss a beat.
