We have beaten Cadiz 3-1. Soldado (pen), Ruud and Balboa scored. Robinho was class!! Marcelo was impressive too! And Sneijder came in in the 70th min. He somehow changed the game. Great buy! Lets hope we can keep this up!

i can sure be happy with my team (real madrid of course) we are one or two signings away from a perfect squad
we need a winger and maybe an attacker other than that we are fine for the season start i feel good about snijder and drenthe thay both played will in the first game so i am optimistic about this season we have a balanced squad in all positions (almost all positions) so lets just wait and see last season we was not good at first but we were good at the end of the race

Back on the news...

We beat Cadiz 3-1 not playing well either, then again if Schuster would line up the same 11 guys two games in a row it might help our whole consistency factor....hell, line up the same 8 guys and I will be Happy....I guess in his view pre-season is entirely for trials, he really doesnt care about results...that is a noble and truthful fact of life; but in clubs like Madrid even the pre-season matter, and that is something that I think Schuster needs to understand....we will see in April....

Reported that Milan are offering between 14 and 20 mill for Baptista...and Rome 7 for Cicihno......looks like they are locks...No further news on the Robben saga other than it seems as thought Madrid is meeting with Chelsea starting today, once again they claim a deal could be reached by the weekend

thats a disgrace, if they are serious. i cant beleive how overated and over priced this guy is. seriously its not even funny anymore, the guy is lieghtweight cant defend and cant cross to save his life i have no idea why these teams rate him so highly id have cicinho over him anyday, hell id ask for alves plus 25 mill for cicnho then i would think about selling him lol, but seriously we dont need alves we have ramos torres and cicnho or salgado (i prefer cicinho).

Come on Jaouad... you can't seriously be saying that Alves is a lightweight who can't defend and can't cross....your merengue-coloured glasses are clouding your vision (is that even possible? :funny

The guy is a beast who plays from touchline to touchline, scores goals, breaks up plays, runs all game, takes free kicks and generally spurs his club on and also goes head to head against the best wingers in the world. He did a hell of a job on Ronaldinho last year (albeit Ronnie wasn't in his best form) and I have seen countless great performances from him. He is one of the key reasons for Seville's resurgence and I fully understand why their president is asking ridiculous money for him. He should. He doesn't need to sell him, Seville is taking up a place amongst the elite teams in Europe and to have the best RB in the world on your club is no small part of that.

Agree. While it's crazy to pay 40 million euros for Alves it's even more crazy to say that Cicinho is better than him ( BTW reading his report on Alves about being lightweight, can't defend, and can't cross sounds just like the one and only Cicinho ). **** I would be very happy getting 10 million euros for him from Roma.
