Pepe, cannavaro, ramos and hienze were missing from training 2day.

looks like cannavaro, ramos and pepe might recover in time for the game with mallorca, but we are having a bit of a crisis with defenders getting injured.

hienxe is out for 2 months by the way.

Ramos is out due to yellow cards, he is physically fine but he wont play against Mallorca, that leaves us with

Salgado,Marcelo, Torres, Pepe and Cannavaro...who might be hurt...really really worrying

very scrappy game and levante are making it very hard for us, by defending in numbers. i dont see many goals in this game, but ill b happy if we end up with a 1-0 score.

P.S Gago has been supurb maybe we wont miss diarra that much after all. cross your fingers he doesnt get booked otherwise he will miss next weeks madrid derby.

remineds me a lot of real madrid of last season. van gol does the business for us again.

Gago did quite good in a though game made some great tackles, made a few bad passes aswell but so did every one else to be honest.

yeh not the best performance but its 3 points none the less. i thought marcelo was particularly bad, but he had a good game last week(one of very few who did). and most people were bad today. hopefully the derby will wake us up out of this rut we are in. we usually perform against the bigger teams and not so against the smaller ones hence todays performance.

i watched your game against zaragoza, and today against levante. i don't know what's worse the fact that you play like total and utter SH!T and win or the fact that it is common knowledge you will score in your last 15 minutes yet the opposition still tries to be brave and attack. you've now gotten two 2-0 victories that should both have been 0-2. that handball given today was extremely 50/50, the guy just blasted it at his arm, and could easily not have been given. how levante managed to not score even a single one of their opportunities is beyond me. more shocking is how zaragoza didn't manage to score!

you call him luck, i call him iker casillas. and yt23w is right neither team could score and we had many chances to score, baptista had to cleared of the line and hit the the post and robinho hit the post.
and the penalty was a penalty his arms were raised and it hit his arm. dont blame our luck or the ref blame the F.A for the rules.

Yes, you won the title last year, but you didn't earn it, we threw it away. If you're going to deny that, you're an indiot.

At the Camp Nou two weeks ago, you were the better team and you deserved to win. If I deny that, then I will be an idiot. However, you cannot say that you haven't been massively lucky on countless occaisons over the last 12 months. I would love to see a stat that shows how many games you have scored and won games in the last 15 minutes after being second best throughout.

It's ok, your luck will run out sooner or later, and we'll be waiting when it does!

For you to come here and categorize somebody as an idiot for having a different opinion (and we all do you are in a Real Madrid thread remember?) that makes you an idiot. The fact of the matter is that while Barca did play the best football in Europe for those years, you no longer do. The fact is that we won La Liga last year because we wanted it more. Luck has to be sough after, luck doesnt just arrive, good teams create their own luck, resillient teams find way to win. I would dare you to go up to any of those players that played in our squad last year after the break and tell them they didnt earn their championship...they earned it alright; they did what they had to do to win, and get the results, Barca didnt, that is your fault (Barca the teams and players) not ours.

There is an old sports adage that says: "Good teams find ways to win; bad teams find ways to lose" and that cannot be more true of us. Have we been fortunate? absolutely, but have we generated our own "luck" in many occasions? we sure have; You barca types only know how to find ways to critizice us and how we play, yet you are still sitting 7 points behind for your own doing.

If we get knocked out of Copa del Rey I actually wont mind, I think its a distraction to be honest, but whatever, I would let you guys win 20 Copas over us having 10 Champions Leagues, that is the one competition that would dissapoint me to get knocked out of prior to the Semis at least.

As long as our team mentality remains the same, as long as we display the same fight; the same impetus, and desire to WIN; our "luck" will not run out, and we will be in Las Cibeles by the end of the year, Hopefully celebratin un Doblete!
