Rooney 2 x 0 Portugal, that's my prediction. It's gonna be a hell of a game.

Not going to do any tactical prediction of the game, at least for now, just want to send out a big FORÇA PORTUGAL!!!
After our last 2 performances we all believe we can take England.
About our opponents, they're a good side but, as usual, extremely over-rated by the english media. But, to be honest, our media are also over-rating our team a lot.
Still, England has:
- lost against the worse France of the past 10 years;
- won 2 games against teams that posed weak opposition, especially on the defending end.
On the other hand, Portugal:
- had a miserable game against a well-organized Greece, and obviously lost fairly;
- beat a Russia that didn't exactly knew what they were doing. We played better, but still not suficient to beat a top side;
- pulled off a great win in a tight match against one of the teams that had played better in the tournament until that point.
What does this tells us? Nothing. Tomorrow's game is a box of surprises. I have no idea of what will happen, but I'm pretty confident we'll win!

We have as much reasons to be as confident as the english. If not we even have more reasons since we haven´t lost to England in oficial games since 1966. But since i don´t like to talk for the players, like some smartasses here, let´s just wait for the match tomorrow. If we lose, i will have no problem congratulating your team, let´s hope you do the same.

dude ALL the english press questions to Scolari in the press conference today were about Rooney.

if the match was on neutral ground England would be the clear favourites. portugul might have more fans but not by a lot, and the English will more than make up for that. it all deepens on the first half, if England take an early lead portugul will loose all their confidence and be their usual average self but even if portugul take the first goal i think it will just motivate England even more. my prediction is England win by at least 2 goals, Owen to score at least one of them.
