PES4 PC Online League

Think you guys are jumping ahead of the wagon..


first of all we don't know yet if it's really online, in other foruns ppl are talking about LAN play, which is not online play.

On the other hand why make leagues were one ppl can only take one team? that would make it uninteresting... focus the leagues on the players not the teams, and let each one choose their team, even if they repeat.

Other interesting aspects:

how will the game cope with the fact one can edit his op file to enhace some players and therefore cheat? the game be played with what player's op file? will there be a central op file?...

interesting questions.. I don't see any future in online PES if there is not a central service that deals with these issues, to which one should connect and safely play knowing there is no cheating involved... I haven't heard about anything so I will hold my horses.

someone pointed me in this direction, as im running something similar over at pesfan.com

im pretty convinced PES4 will be ip-ip online on the pc (looking at the network specs) - so have drawn up details for a online league.

ill post the basics of my league here - and will link to the thread which business is being conducted

note id also like to have discussions with the admins of this league - throwing ideas at each other, i note transfers will note be included in this setup - but i have already drawn up plans for a fully functional management backbone to my league, which includes transfers, contracts, money, free agents, loans etc

anyway - heres the basic platform and the link:-

Leagues 8 teams min. - Home & Away games
2 Promoted / 2 Relegated should there be more than 1 division
Cup competition
Charity Shield / Super Cup for season opener
Transfers - ill detail that more later
GOTM
Statistics Tracked
+ more

Onto the transfers, everyone will use the same option file, money will be earned, similar to Master League.

ie: Win £300,000
Draw £150,000
Goal (either team) £100,000

Win Top Division £2,000,000 with incrementing drops ala Premier League
This will continue into lower divisions should there be any. Plus a parachute payment to any club relegated from top flight.

Contracts: you will assign contracts to your players - but will be restricted to number of years, as set by rules i.e 4 players on 3 yr deals etc

Transfer Negotiation - every team must transfer list at least 2 players per season - player values will be decided at start of season, and then increase should they be performing above standard.

Free transfers ie out of contract players.

All rules are being worked on, to make it fair, so that 1 club cant just buy every top player.

Note: European Competitions will only be available, should we have enough players who want to play across the leagues available - ie 8 players using dutch clubs etc - this is more than likely a 'future' expansion idea, should the league prove a success.

Note: All figures etc are examples and are changeable.

Note: Im working on a site, and will try and host it asap, with more info - id love some interest from fellow gamers looking to join as the FA so to speak (admins)

If it works like it's being proposed (IP>IP) then it should be just fine. WE'll just have to see how it goes i guess.

If it's IP to IP, won't the person "hosting" be at a signicant advantage? If that's then case perhaps the home team always gets the option to host the game, to simulate home-field advantage?

ive searched konamis sites and theres nothing to say that the pc version will be either way

im still happy with the pes4.com website, stating that network play is enabled ip-ip baby

maybe hes just a sour ps2 user

It's not a true online mode but it can be modded and it's really all we need.

read the next page - it says you need an internet connection, and specifies speed etc

i understand that i doubt konami will offer a lobby service etc - but ip-ip play i believe will come straight out of the box - and to run leagues, this is all you need
