I believe up to 4 times your RAM is the limit..I've got mine set from 256 up to 512 and it has helped somewhat. Also making sure all your BG progs are off and especially anti virus proggies. No Explorer or Winamp open if you can afford it - I've found that on a 550MHZ machine I'm waiting a fair bloody while anyway, so I may as well browse and listen whilst I wait maybe 30 seconds longer..

Its the best time to get RAM is now really.

At the moment its so widely avalible that supply is heavily exceding demand therefore lowering price due to how common it is.

Soon companies will be falling out of the market meaning it will become more expensive

Meh, I went out and bought 512MB of SD RAM just after Christmas only to find out that my Mobo's limit was 352MB So I now have a 256MB stick sitting unused

RAM is very cheap but I cannae be bothered getting someone to fit it in for me most of the time. I am getting an upgrade soon though so I can play Splinter Cell.

PC2100.. Nah... If ya want good and fast RAM it should be at least 2700.

It slows it down a bit, but it's mainly background matches in selected leagues that slow the game down.

I have a Athlon XP 2.7, 512 DDR RAM PC 2700 and 120 Gb of 7200 RPM HDD and the game reccomands i play only 8 divisions but i have 4.01, does that affect it.

I think its kinda slow compared to others, i would expect it to be really fast
