Some of you Man Utd supporters are absolutely biased. Everything Mike Riley does is right now isn't it..
Morons. Ruud obviously meant it, he had a look at the onrushing Cole, THEN stuck his feet out.

Mike Riley is a cunt. He's the biggest cuntwaffling cockmongling cunt ever.

You cheats - Fergie pelted with soup
Sir Alex Ferguson was pelted with food and soup by an Arsenal player after Manchester United brought the champions' record run to a controversial end. Tempers flared at Old Trafford as United's 2-0 victory denied Arsenal a 50th unbeaten Premiership game. There was a heated tunnel exchange between Ferguson and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who claimed his side were robbed by referee Mike Riley. He awarded United a penalty when Wayne Rooney appeared to dive under a challenge from Sol Campbell. Ruud van Nistelrooy converted the 73rd minute spot-kick.

Pathetic if you ask me, Wenger is a sore loser

is it just me or did everton teach all their players how to dive to get a penalty in their trainning session?? example?

1) francis jeffers (dive during a non-contact tackle by riise at highbury a couple of season ago) - ex-evertonian :ewan:

2) rooney (the invisible leg of sol campbell... ) another ex-evertonian :ewan:

i hate it when players do that... but for arsenal case i don't feel any unjustice at all.. cause they used to do that to other teams before... it is just a case of "have a taste of your own medicine"...

lastly.. i've said this before and will say it again.. for god sake fired that lousy mike riley.. he is not fit to be a EPL referee...:f***:

Man Utd quiet on tunnel 'bust-up'

Manchester United chief executive David Gill has refused to say anything about allegations that an Arsenal player threw food at Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I have no comment to make," Gill told BBC Radio Five Live when asked about the incident that is said to happened in the tunnel after United's 2-0 win.

The Football Association was also making no comment on Monday but could decide to follow up the media reports.

Ruud van Nistelrooy's tackle on Ashley Cole could also be studied by the FA.

The Daily Telegraph says tomato soup was thrown at Ferguson.

The Daily Mirror reported that it was 'food and pea soup' hurled by an unnamed Arsenal player.

Arsenal had left the field incensed after the Old Trafford clash and manager Arsene Wenger and captain Patrick Vieira were hugely critical of referee Mike Riley.

Riley awarded a controversial 73rd minute penalty after United striker Wayne Rooney went down over a trailing Sol Campbell leg in the Arsenal box.

Campbell refused to shake Rooney's hand at the final whistle before the players headed into the tunnel where tempers appear to have boiled over.

The penalty was converted by Ruud van Nistelrooy ,who also came in for criticism from the Arsenal camp for an ugly-looking tackle on Ashley Cole.

United keeper Roy Carroll and Arsenal striker Thierry Henry are also believed to have been involved in an angry exchange of words.

The corresponding fixture between the two teams last season ended in controversy when players rounded on Van Nistelrooy after he missed a last-minute penalty in the goalless draw.

Arsenal had four players banned and were handed fines totalling £275,000 by the FA.

And Arsenal could be in for more punishment from the FA for any tunnel fracas and Wenger's comments about Riley, who has awarded eight penalties in his last eight matches at Old Trafford.

The Frenchman said: "Riley decided the game, like we know he can do at Old Trafford. We were robbed."

Why did he have to stamp his foot down into Cole's leg then?

It's not the first time he's done something like this against Arsenal. Back in 2002 he punched Ljungberg in the stomach and got away with it. Last season he kicked out at Vieira, who then retaliated. Then the two incidents in yesterday's match. Little wonder the Arsenal players have it in for him.

To AndrewC: I understand if you are biased towards Henry and against Van Nistelrooy, but to state that Henry never cheats or tries to dive is false. I'm pretty sure that Henry's dive and claim for a penalty in last year's FA Cup tie was what sparked his feud with Carroll. I still remember how Roy (Carroll) screamed in his face that day.

EDIT: It was Vieira who kicked out from the ground.. Ruud and him jumped up to head the ball but Ruud leaned onto him, similar to what Henry did to Heinze.
