England failed to qualify for euro U21 (top 3 qualify for olympics). Thats why theyre not there.

Anyways, Italy has a great team, evidenced by them winning euro U21 championships last month:rockman: .

Cassano and Ferrari are still under 23, so they dont count as being overaged:D . Some rumoured names for 3 spots:

Does Cristiano wanna go? Has he said anything? I think if the player wants to go back to his normal league then it's up to him. Otherwise he'll miss the start of a big season for United where he'll definately figure a lot more.

Actually England isn't going to the olympics because your U21 team didn't even qualify for the Euro Championship as far as I recall.

It's the first 3 spots of the U21 Euro Championship that give access to the olympic games.

Both Quaresma and Ronaldo will defenitely go

Even if England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland get the 3 first spots in the U21 Euro they will not play in the Olympics because it's Great Britain that compete in the OG as a united team in all sports. football don't have a british united team so they will never play olympic football.
