Do you think they'll do well in the CL?

Depends on the group. They will be in the third pot so they need a bit of luck, there are some doable teams in the second pot.

Looks like they will bring Ewerthon back to Germany.

Pardo and Osorio are fags, they should have played Copa America, good luck for them though, both great players. They need to have a really good season to justify their descision of quiting the NT

I loved how last season everyone was talking about Bremen and later on Schalke all the time until just before you won it :D. I hardly heard Stuttgart mentioned till they were top when Schalke slipped and Bremen were out of the title race.

Honestly I don't see that big a deal with them skipping Copa America. Looking at it in a positive perspective, it gives Mexico some room to check out new talent. And shows some depth that we have, but is never really tested because the same players keep getting called up. I mean, I think Torrado and Correa have done great in the midfield. Castro was decent, I don't think he wowed anyone, but he was solid. Also the Gold Cup was more priority because it's a CONCACAF cup, while in Copa America, Mexico is just a guest.

Anyway, those are just my two cents. And best of luck to them, they're great players, they should do well in the Champions League. Good to see Mexicans succeeding in Europe. Hopefully their success will pave the way for more players being able to show their talent in the old continent.

There's news all over the Romanian sports press that you guys are very interested in Shakhtar's Romanian striker Ciprian Marica. Have you heard anything? He's a great striker and young as well.

Shaktar confirmed the deal, 8 million euros.

Gomez, Cacau, Ewerthon, Marica - that's a very solid strikeforce, definitely the second best in the league.
