cdicicco

some kind of player guy
in a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 formation he may be the left winger, in a 4 man defence no way, Abidal and maybe Isla who has played left back in Udinese.

I think i have a very versatile squad to do some formation changes

Pogba as AMF? He is not really the creative type. This team has little creativity from midfield. The first team with Dzagoev is better.

It's a damn good midfield, Ramires box-to-box interior + Pogba possession interior, i'd only swap Bernard for Lennon to have a better ball circulation inside with him and Ribery.

I prefer Bernard, but I guess people haven't seen enough of him, and this is the voting stage. But yeah that midfield is the best, and with Dani Alves there, either Bernard or Lennon would do a good job :D

Players I thought would get picked (some for reputation, others for ability).

Giefer, Vorm, Sommer, Albiol, Evans, Wollscheid, Stranzl, Rat, Janssen, Rode, Badelj, Schwegler, Gentner, Anderson, Cambiasso, Rodwell, Ramsey, Gibson, Nocerino, Pizarro, Tiote, Diaby, Rakitic, Osman, Jonas, Sessegnon, Dempsey, Hunt, Taraabt, Kiyotake, Inui, Mirallas, Koke, Taison, Huszti, Cisse, Szalai, Defoe, Ibisevic, Cassano, Herrman, Volland, Cvitanich

Rode, Volland and Kiyotake stand out for me, as I thought they'd be great picks later on and I was very close to picking them. Herrman, Huszti, Mirallas, Janssen and Bedalj too, to a lesser extent. In terms of reputation, surprised that Defoe, Cisse, Albiol, Evans and Anderson didn't, mostly because they play for big sides.

There were no RBs left in my list, which was to be expected. Understand that Giefer didn't get picked because Dusseldorf got relegated, but he was excellent last season. Vorm is also great and good with his feet, so that surprised me.

Generally avoided players I don't know, my picks and players who were reaches or coups but only barely or reasonably. These guys I think should have been picked sooner/later by several rounds. Or in the 1st few rounds, were selected before or after players who are better/worse.

Farfan plays as the sole true winger - dropping bombs in the box for Suarez and Soldado as well as the drifting Podolski - while Santi will send the through balls for whoever is available. Because Farfan will be assigned an advanced role, you may attempt to use the space behind him - where Matic, Piszceck and Thiago will be waiting to eat your children. There will be less space on the other flank where Matic, Cole and Pepe will be waiting to eat your ears and your children. Either way, your children are toast.

Why didn't you get a proper companion for Matic over Podolsji or Soldado? That defense is easily the vest in the draft and Cazorla and Suarez are great attackiv picks. Even if you just got Rode you would have one of the best teams. As is, the midfield is too off balance. Do you have a good MC to slot in?

Xaviesta

Starting XI
I like your team, although it's a little too offensive. Not sure if Matic can play alone there. You should play Podolski more advanced, same for Soldado. Suarez is much better as a CF.

It is interesting that I'm too attacking with possibly the best defense in the draft! I had originally intended to play Matic alongside Toulalan, but I could as easily slot Diarra in there - he'd be better company, I think. That'd probably mean putting Ayew on the left and pulling both Poldi and Soldado and playing two wingers with Santi feeding Suarez. Would it be better to play Diarra alongside Santi, instead?

I'd pick Toulalan over Diarra, but either way you should definitely put one of them in the starting XI.

The back six as Xaviesta has it is what I had planned initially - but I thought I'd be a little narrow going forward and too defensive. Definitely worth some thought, though. Hmmm...

You need a Di Maria/Navas in order to avoid your squad to break into a 6+4, i'd bench Soldado. Toulalan is an absolutely awesome player.

Arnau

This is exactly the same, players move on the pitch. Cazorla, Suarez, Soldado, Poldi has 0 work in defensive transition, not sure about Podolski though.

I'm having trouble with the grouping draw as my computer is acting up and my laptop can't handle a simple recording program, so as soon as I can get my desktop running I'll do the draw and start the grouping/threads for each groups.

I'm tentatively aiming for the end of the week.
