So in the end it all evens out. We're through well and deservedly.

CTPM!!! robben dived and the ref took the bait.

that was never penalty. game should have continued to extra time and possibly penalties.

Your posts in the rumor thread are more credible than that last post.

Bro, the ball is past him and he sticks his leg in Robben's path making no attempt (or an extremely late attempt) for the ball. He trips Robben's left leg while knocking his right foot with his knee. You are fucking retarded if you don't see that. If I stick my leg out to trip you and you walk over it and trip, am I blameless because ultimately you are the one who initiated the contact with my leg? Dumbass.

Look at Robben's left leg and tell me how he is supposed to swerve his left foot around Marquez's leg and avoid the trip. And then explain to me why Robben should make all that effort when he could just continue his run, get obviously tripped, and win a penalty in the 90th minute.

Technically its impossible for robben to simulate a foul in that situation, he either gets tripped by Marquez or Marquez attempts to trip him, both penalty offences

Let's see if he makes it through the whole process.

I wonder with Costa Rica/USA's success in the World Cup, would the federation have more patience if Mexico were to struggle again during qualifying?

Had the FMF known that Costa Rica would be that strong would Vucetich have been canned after only two games?

Probably. I feel like it'll be different this time around though, they (the FMF) know how pissed off fans and -- probably more importantly to them -- sponsors are that their petty political bullshit almost kept the team out of the World Cup.

Who really knows though? There are some massive egos there.

Pulido is like Chicharo without the positioning. Plus who knows what shady dealings Tigres got him on the hook for.

Cool, I think we're going with Raúl. Pulido to Porto rumours emerged in the last days but seems like it's not serious stuff.

There's no reason to call Ochoa while he's settling in at his new club, everyone knows what he does. I'd have called Rodríguez from Chivas and had him and Talavera split time.

Agreed. Stupid greedy ass, money grubbing federation.

Edit: seeing that list and seeing Euro based players called up amongst shot in the dark type of local call ups makes my piss boil. If you're experimenting with new players don't call up established players for fucks sake. :kader:

Carlos Salcido officially retires from the national team. good call by him.

in his place Piojo called up Hugo Ayala from Tigres.

entertaining game. Mexico had the clearest goal opportunities but lacked the finishing touch.

this would have been one of the best games in the world cup IF mexico had played chile instead of netherlands.

John Sutcliffe says they're going to make a run at Vela again.

why?? let him be. if he didn't want to play in the world cup for free. you think he is going to want to fly all the way from Spain to play in the dreadful concacaf world cup qualifiers.

just pathetic now, to see the Mexican federation begging :puke: vela.

I feel Vela is further away from playing in the NT than about a year before. I bet they're basically gonna force him to retire from international play so the fucking federation quits bugging him.
