That's not true at all. Kroos didn't play long enough against Juve before getting injured for any impression to be made, especially because Alaba put the whole damn tie away in the first fucking minute with Kroos on the field. But for the record, I said before we even started that against Juventus specifically, and also I think I said against Barcelona, Muller at AMC was the better matchup for Bayern than Kroos, just because of how those teams are set up and how they play. Having Muller fuck with Pirlo was better for us than having Kroos try to dominate possession.

If Kroos didn't get injured, I think Juve may have won or got a draw. Kroos is a brilliant player, but those wingbacks really just became ineffective going forward when Robben came on. Heynckes didn't get the tactics right, but got "lucky". Kroos absence won't be a big deal for us until the Semis or Final, but could be decisive at that stage. Hope we don't get Madrid, that's the team that benefits from the Kroos injury; we might be better against Barca with Ribery-Muller-Robben.
