Yeah I thought all of this was quite clear so I think, Hakeem, you just need to see it again with all of this in mind and you'll definitely appreciate the last portion of the film much better.
yeah, I mean, all you say makes sense but I what I'm saying is that the movie, just the movie, doesn't express all that the book did.
I knew Chigurh killed Moss' wife, that's fine, but who were these mexicans that killed Moss? I dont remember anybody else other than Chigurh and Bell trying to find Moss at that time, as Woody Harrelson's character was dead already and his boss too.
I didnt get that Chigurh at the end pays the kid with that money, my bad, but it wasn't really clear (where did he have the movie? the bag was not there).
And the other thing for me is all you say about Bell's persuit of Evil, I get that, but to me, the movie is not about Bell. To me its about Moss and Chigurh, and thats why I have the problem with the movie. Bell to me gives a speech at the beginning of then movie, and then just goes after Moss to protect him from Chigurh but he's never close to them, making him kind of distant from the other two, less important to the story IMO.
thanks for clarifying those things for me SlayerDeuS, and I will definetly watch it again. because its not that I didnt like the movie, I think its near perfect, but I believe you have to read the book in order to totally get the movie, and that shouldnt happen (:/)
