ya fifa blows this away visually.. the pic u showd of the boots , fifa does that effect.. (one of the rare things pes took from ea).. and it looks 50 times better.. ill be buying both as i always do.. prob play fifa till we07 comes out.. hopefully the kits will move this yr for fifa bothere dme last yr... but 07 should be awesome for 360.. i mean if they keep copying winning eleven, it just gets better becuse of it

totally agree with the copying thing, keep copying fifa, u will get there and go in ur own direction eventually. are those fifa screens actual in game play, or just camera zoom ins, or even intro? any screens of actualy gameplay with player markers etc, EAsports have a tendency to show intro screens a lot!

You've proved your point, we all now can see who has a brain and who talks off his arse. What's the pc demo got to do with everything? 'fifa fools' lmao, are you on a mission to help ppl against evil developers? They all are after our money, haven't you heard? EA has actually done some effort for this release at least...can you say the same for konami? maybe you can but do you really believe it? They recycly the kind of gameplay they used to have couple years ago in every new release as an improved gameplay, which always leaves ppl hungry for next years improvements...I'll bet a dime they haven't even fixed the online issues yet.

Facts: Fifa - 360 - has moved a long way in all aspects, while pes6 is mostly a we10 which was a pes5 port, which was a pes4 port etc) port in 720p, no matter which you prefer and what's the definition of fun for any of us, KONAMI sit on their lazy ass waiting to feel the heat. You can still worship them but you can't argue with that, unless you're blind.

I get both every year and will do the same again but seems to me pes/we fanboys are getting close to be what they used to laugh on with fifa fanboys.

If you have read seabass's interview's saying gk issues were adressed and solved properly or something, and now everybody who played the game says gk's are the worse they had ever seen and get prepared for double scores than you used to have, plus that game feels like pes4 while being a we10 port with minor tweaks.

Anyway, just keep an open mind guys and get what plays more fun, could be tif or sensible soccer if it suits you but fanboyism is so stupid but yet so popular...

The new engine is in next gen version, pc demo is a tottaly different thing. Haven't played it, might be same old but oppinions go both ways. I don't care as I'm waiting to see the 360 version.

As for pes improving every year, well whatever. While it is trully superior in some aspects, it hasen't improved at all in each and every one of the others, and it's not only the licenses. I'll have my final word when I play the 360 demo, if it plays like they say it does and has the atmosphere, licenses, gfx and sound I know it has, scr3w seabass and his ps2 port. If it doesn't, I'll get my fair share of both.

deKerf, I've been playing both for far too many years, I have a very good picture of both franchises as they developed the last decade or so. My point in the talk we do here is I see Fifa spending money and effort to move on, while Konami don't. And basically, what I would like to achieve through this is to awake ppl who appreciate pes in order to make such a demand through the community. Well, it won't happen but that's my reasoning anyway,cheers.

Fair enough man but my point is I will take gameplay over anything else anyday. If it comes down to improving the game engine or having better textured faces or stadiums or whatever well you can guess what my preference is going to be. I downloaded the FIFA demo for PC and it sucked. Now I know that FIFA often plays a lot better on consoles than on PC but in my opinion it is usually better in ways like framerate and animation smoothness. However, the core gameplay generally remains the same on PC and console. I also realize the 360 is in a different league than the PS2 so the differences may be more pronounced or maybe EA will just make it a straight-up better game this year like the way that the NHL version this year with the 360 getting the skill-stick and the PC version and other console versions basically just crappy ports of last years version.

Honestly, I'm very skeptical of the FIFA series. They finally re-wrote the ball physics this year and the game is still garbage (the PC version anyways, we'll see about the 360 version). Every year I give FIFA a chance and rent the games or download the demo's and its always crap. Nevertheless, they still sell tonnes of copies, why should this year be different, Xbox360 version or not?

Personally, I think it seems that Konami is beginning to slow down a bit. Seems like they're getting more and more behind FIFA, which I think is just great, because it brings in new and fresh competition to the soccer game market - to trade roles every fifth year or so. But I'm really excited about what EA claims to have done with this year's next-gen FIFA. If they've done what they say they have, then I'm sure FIFA will be back on the right track, and it's about time too. But if they fail at what they're promising all the fans worldwide, if it's just 'the ol' same cup of annual FIFA', then EA are screwed. They can't risk so much, promising all soccer fans that this year's FIFA will be a revolution in gaming, just to find that nothing's severely changed. So it seems that EA are laying down all their cards, and betting everything they have - will it be a blind bet? Well, we'll just have to wait and see...

Honeslty i can't understand why many believe that FIFA looks betters. It just looks shiny but superfake. Models look like plastic, face texture like robot. I believe people are generally fooled by bright colors and shades. Even patch makers tend to make everything shining like hell.

Konami improves steadily visually: Nothing superfancy or state of the heart, but still looks more realistic. Although they should focus much more on skin textures and shape players bodies in a better.

I would rather have sound improvement than visual improvement: a nice atmosfere in stadium is very much missing.

Seabass: In the past we focused on the PS2 version of PES first but with the switch to next-gen everything is now led on PC and then moved across onto Xbox 360 and PS3, so the formats are now treated very equally

totally agree with the fact that after seeing various xbox 360 screens, i gotda point out that the pc version is much better infact imagine the updates later on when you play with the xbox360 version it's gonna be out dated and out wipped, people still talk about pes5 for pc when there is winning eleven 9 liveware evolution for the pc, it's just like we10 only unmatched by pes6 for the pc, let's put aside the xbox360, i don 't think it has any specialities,

Over its years Fifa never learned to put normal numbers.. oh lord. Kits are pathetic and everything looks like it 1998 game. Fifa world cup 2002 owned this garbage. Shame on them. Especeally for all those lies they make. The only thing that is improved over 2 years is faces, no more.

Oh yeah i betcha you already got it... Does it looked like this in game .. OH RLY? Poor printer can't handle all those photoshop paint fabrics printing in pounds just to cover the truth about how horrible this game. I smelling another fresh pack of EA lies!

So insthead of coming here and saying that i tell some crap you have to atleast say thanks for trying to save your money. Fifa do make improvement more than Pes but i don't want to buy a worse game just cause it improved more.
