hey UTI... had an inkling who you were all along, i checked, and i was proven right nice to see your team is doing so well.
unfortunately, my team is not doing so well, despite 7-0 and 4-1 victories using the meatwall tactic. so any help on this tactic would be appreciated...
Defence
The defence in my eyes is fine. Although I would re-position the midfield as you're using the 3 man defence.
Midfield
As aforementioned, I would modify the diamond, for a 'magic square'.
Code:
----------------------------
44 _______ 8
/ \
___/________\_______
\ /
7 \______/ 6
-----------------------------
The #7 and #6 should be placed inbetween the holes created between #5 and #4, and #4 and #3.
You will end up with this:
Three defenders, two midfielders. Similar to the way the common 5-3-2, but farther up the park.
Attack
#44, #8 from your midfield would like up well with #11. No doubt about it, chances will be created, however it's creating the space for #2 and #41 which is the problem. Push #41 up as far as he can go. This way, if your opponent plays the offside trap, he can pass to #2 as he is dropped back, if not, then a defender may stay with #41 while the other defenders push up:
Strategy
Mentality: 3-4-3. Normal or attack.
Style: Short passing.
Aggression: Normal / Aggressive.
Going back to your attack.
Key:
11* = Your player in posession
2 & 41 = your players
o = opposition
Code:
11*
o 2o o
_____41o___
| __'__ |
__|__|_____|__|___
Your #4 will create an uneven defence, alowing your #2 to get behind the defender as the defender marking #4 would be playing him onside.
This is a possible scenario:
