Terry wanted us to use Turkey for insperation. What have Beckham miss another Penalty?

Take that captain arm band off now.
Give the Penalty job to someone else like Lampard.
Sack Sven! Just like Italy we take the lead and then sit back. Rooney going off is no excuse. If we'd selected a proper bench we would've been ok. Heskey for one game to loose it for us? Joe Cole on the Bench and Owen Harmless get on before him?
We have plenty of backup strickers to choose from yet no manager English or otherwise has the bottle to choose them.

My view on the Campbell goal was it should've stuck. BUT best of luck Portugal because you played much bettter on the day and decerved the win. Only the ammount of times Englands been robbed by terrible refs I've lost count. Funny how the worst refs always get England games.

France 98 rings a bell. Campbell yet again.

I'm thinking of travelling to Madrid to teach Beckham how to take a proper penalty.(H) The second crucial penalty he misses, he screwed England in this Euro.

Reports of an imminent alien invasion have been dismissed by the Portuguese authorities today after numerous sightings of a UFO were reported over Lisbon last night.

Many Lisbon residents reported seeing a mysterious silver sphere in the night sky.

However the Portuguese Air Force were scrambled and reported back that the alleged UFO was actually David Beckham’s penalty.

No, he's in the England squad for his delivery of set peices. We've got nobody else in the England squad that can deliver the ball like him. Despite his poor form in this tournament, he's still managed to keep up with some good deliveries.

As for penalties, he scuffed it but it's a game of chance from 12 yards, man.

So this is the 'Oh, England are so poor' brigade showing up to kick us while we're down. Did anybody realisticly think we would beat Portugal on last night's showing?

We were on the ropes for god knows how long. We didn't deserve to win and I wish people would stop going on about how England should be winning things. We're simply not good enough. Just take pride in the fact that we aren't as bad as Germany, Italy or Turkey. One of the top Eight sides in Europe. Suits me fine, that does.

Now sit down, shut up and all cheer on the Czechs :D
