News from a dude who aparently saw the new kit from Portugal:
"I went to NYC yesterday to see the rest of Nike's WC2010 stuff.
I saw Portugal's Home jersey which I hope they will get to use in the WC. Jersey is all red with an horizontal green stripe (of about 4 inches in height) running across the chest. Portugal's Crest really stands out, and there are also little dots in I want to say in ...red on that green stripe. Nike has brought back the GREEN shorts!!! (GoodDeal will love this one ) They also showed 3 different colored hoodies (red, black and gray) featuring the Cross in the front and 20 on 1 sleeve and 10 on the other (for 2010). They showed a bunch of t-shirts (Federation tees, Cotton tees, and some other Graphic tees) and 2 Portugal Line-Up Carlos*ets, a White one with PORTUGAL in green in the back and a Red one with PORTUGAL in green in the back (these replace the very popular Anthem Carlos*ets). They also showed 2 Polos but the Nike catalog has 5 different ones and there will be 2 Training jerseys (Royal blue and Red). Also saw a Portugal Authentic Royal Blue N98 Carlos*et.
More stuff I saw from Portugal: a nice Backpack in a light military green color, a messenger bag in that same color, 3 different caps (red, black and I think white) plus 2 Beanies (black and white). Have in mind that some (if not most) of this stuff can possibly never makeit to the North America market because all of ...this is dependent on futures orders (by the soccer specialty stores like Pegasus here in the US). So there's a good chance we might not even get any Polos, a limited choice of Tees and maybe not even any Hoody. Most of this stuff unfortunately is due to only come out 5/1/2010 (yes, that's May 2010!) Nike could have made a killing ($) by releasing some of this stuff before Christmas... "
