So the the kit with the X at the back is the one for the fans?!?!
Because Russia was wearing the kit without the X in the match.

But France was wearing a kit with the X at the back.

no, adidas make 2 models for each game shirt stile, the one with the x on the back is like puma design for african teams more tight on the body and the one without the x is a normal model but is alsou for the game.

Awful. Absolutely no effort has been made, whatsoever. It's hard to believe this isn't just a basic training kit, but it isn't: http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_4_5/brands/adidas/product_details.aspx?pid=63746&cid=7859

Hell no! Take away our World Cup qualification...just don't give us that 8|.
Ugh! The hell were they thinking...Nike take us back we are sorry :(!
apart from the legendary 1996 Olympics kit, Nike only gave you guys template designs, just like Adidas are doing ... actually, if we're looking as far back as '96, then it might as well be pointed out that Adidas themselves provided a unique design for Africa Cup and World Cup '94 ...

that said, Nike, unlike Adidas, did change the shade of green they used each time they brought out a new kit ... I particularly liked the untraditional choice used for your 2002 World Cup home jersey ... shame it wasn't a lucky strip ...

so Adidas have added another to a long line of unspecial kits they've provided you since 2004 ... it shouldn't have come as a surprise ... this latest iteration actually reminds me of the first kit (after you re-signed with them) that Adidas gave you for the Africa Cup in 2004 ... once you put some numbers on the front and back, and slap some World Cup badges on the sleeves, it'll look fine ... at least it wasn't worse -- they could have stuck you guys with the puffy-shoulder kit template!

At least the Nike templates we got were not as crap as these...
It actually makes it pretty ridiculous to think that if Adidas could make our '94 jerseys why could they not refer back to them...the first kit they gave us was plain but not so bad...I'm sure I would trade this for the puffy shoulder tecfit "Ninja Turtle shirts" that Mexico have...okay not really:blush:.

That's how I would describe these kits

Ok, I understand.
I don't like the shirts with the X.
It looks like a Umbro or Nike shirt.

So the players choose the model who they want to use, more tight or normal?

My understanding is that it will only be adidas sponsored players who will use the techfit versions, so you will see both versions of the kits in the match probably.

No way!
This would be ridiculous! :innocent_smile_1:

Look at Ireland-France.
All the players were wearing the same shirt (with the X).

players wear any model, is the choice of players

Yeah, that's right, but Adidas sponsored players are more obliged to wear the techfit kits rather than the other players who get the choice. Ultimately it is down to the player choice, like David Villa chose to wear it while Xavi chose not to versus Argentina.
