hahaha. No I'm still not convinced! It was only one game! I know his scoring ability improved this season, but he still has a long way to go in terms of effectiveness as a playmaker and decision making, etc.Carlos*y said:jose calderon is playing good..told ya he needed time to adjust to the quicker nba gam.... someone on sg was hating on him last year... who was it?

yeah... I miss CV.. I like him more than bosh somehow...ShiftyPowers said:Thanks for Villanueva by the way. Looks like you really needed TJ Ford
ShiftyPowers said:The Bobcats are stupid. Felton, Morrison, Wallace, May, Okafor. There's your starting five. None of this Brevin Knight bull****, he couldn't play for any other team in the league, so why give him those minutes when you don't have to?
By the way, can you all apologize for telling me I was stupid when I said Deron Williams was better than Ray Felton back on draft day 2005?
ShiftyPowers said:Well, I won't go so far as to say that May would go for 20 and 10, but he has exceeded the tiny expectations I had for him as a pro. May has definitely proven me wrong and it's a shame that he doesn't play more as you have shown.
The Bobcats have actually drafted pretty well too. I thought the May pick was outrageous, but he's turned out decent. The Okafor, Felton, and Morrison picks were all ones that not only I endorsed, but I felt were the ONLY picks available. Those picks were ideal. Wallace is a solid player too and a legit starter in the league.
But you know what Alex, I think the Bobcats need one more ****ty year. If I'm MJ right now I let Bernie ruin the season and make a push for high lottery in the 2007 draft. If you land a Kevin Durant, a Brandan Wright, a Josh McRoberts (if you are around 9 or 10; he'll be a nice player in the league as long as he doesn't have to score), a Joakim Noah or Al Horford, or even Greg Oden, you're all of a sudden legit. Then you can spend that cap space on a scorer. And all of a sudden you're sitting with Felton and Knight at PG (Felton starting of course), Morrison, Wallace, and a good free agent on the wings, and May, Okafor, and Wright/Durant/McRoberts/Noah/Horford/Oden in the front court. Or if you draft someone like Chase Budinger then you sign a FA big man. This draft is going to be incredibly deep (especially for big men at the top), and I think scorers in the NBA are a dime a dozen. You could be a playoff team next season, but I think pushing it with a good coach and a sensical rotation puts you at the 12th pick and a some good feelings going into next year. Big deal.
