here are my round 1 predictions
pistons over magic in 5 - grant hill is gonna win one against his old team (I hope)
cavs over wiz in 4 - it would've been interesting to see the arenas-james 'who's choking at the line' feud
raps over nets in 6 - vince back in town.. it's gonna be very loud at the ACC and I mean LOUD!!
heat over bulls in 6 - I still think the bulls should've traded for gasol if there was any truth to the rumor

mavs over warriors in 6 - nellie is gonna make it tough against his old team
suns over lakers in 6 - suns are gonna win but kobe is going to make it interesting
spurs over nuggets in 5 - playoff time is when the spurs are at their best
rocktes over utah in 6 - both t-mac and yao healthy finally

the only matchup that might be an upset is the mavs-warriors series...

I think the Bulls will beat them once in Miami and finish them off in Game 5. The Bulls just seem hungrier. Plus their 3 point shooting is unbelievable. Nocioni 3's at the end of the half had me jumping out of my seat.

Their shots weren't falling(as much) in game 1 and they still won. Regardless, IMO they will beat the Heat. Detroit is a different story, though. Their shots better fall against Detroit or they're done.

I certainly hope that's true. Kidd runs that team, he's the one that's been pwning us so far, regardless of RJ's numbers in game 1 or whatnot. Kidd is the heart of their team.

So why might he be out? Beaten up by his wife again?
