My view on the Full game

Haven't played it too much, but it it's a really fun playing. i'll just tell you what i liked:

[1] - Players look great! Notice Real Madrid's Raul & Beckham, Man City's Nicolas Anelka and Arsenal's Henry & Pires.

[2] - Cool new Cinematics... after a brazilian goal, Ronaldino and two other players started dancing in a circle "brazilian style".

[3] - You never know what's gonna happen with the ball... i crossed it from one side and the diving header hit nothing but air... but it came to the other side where i crossed again - this time the defence cleared it right into my boots -- and it was a great goal.

[4] - Tricks, i love them and they do work or they make you loose the ball, so it's just like in real life. it's really cool when you do a special move and the defender has to bring you down coz' he can't handle you.

[5] I played against some lower devision club in England, and it was their home side, and the small stadium just gave me the feeling of a small British town...

[6] Soundtrack...

[7] There are many options, and many cups to play in, so you'll never run out of different matches to play.

[8] World-Class seems to be hard, i hope it will be hard till' 2005 (maybe it will let me win in the end so i can feel good).

[9] EA placed Robbie Fowler in the starting line-up, maybe Keegen will learn from them (he scored a goal yesterday - btw).

Last but not least, has anyone tried enabling Film Grain, i think the game looks weird... or this might be only on my comp.

Do you think getting past the defender is somewhat possible.
I couldn't do it in the demo (i had a keyboard)

it sure is possible... but i played in Semi-Pro, so who knows, just today it was like tht:
1) with Man City's Robbie Fowler i managed to do a 180 turn and the player tried to tackle but wasn't able to.
2) Roberto Carlos did a nice thing: he was face to face with the defender, he played his leg over the ball a few times and when another defender came to help, Roberto Carlos took the ball backwards behind his legs and then passed it to an open player. so it wasn't dribbling - but it was a special move.
3) Ronaldinho can pass players like nothing

i'm using the keyboard... best way i know is [Shift]+[C] and double clicking on a arrow-key.

FILM GRAIN: just go to \data\cmn\ and you can see 3 files:
For HIGH RENDERING: cfg_pc_h.ini
For MID RENDERING: cfg_pc_m.ini
For LOW RENDERING: cfg_pc_l.ini

open the one you use(if you don't know open them all) and see this line:

FILM_GRAIN_ON = 0

so change it(or add it if it's not there) to

FILM_GRAIN_ON = 1

I'm glad to finally see people making positive comments about FIFA 2004. Keep up with the good comments and tell us how fun it is with it's features.

the only cups/tournaments u cna play in r the league cups i.e. the fa cup there is no international tournaments n stuff which is gay

so in the FA Cup you use only british teams?? are there any custom cups you can do? dont tell me you cant make custom cups or leagues this season...at least custom cups like in fifa2003

I also like the cinematic where the goal scorer has his shoe " cleaned " by a partner.

i have no idea what this grain film do - but i was wondering about it because it is disabled on all levels of rendering
