Awesomes kits

I think these kits you have made are 100x better than the kits I download off the fifa 2004 or fifa2005 sites.

I have my own fantasy footbal team and I used the Gold Bayern Munich strip and added the Champions Barclaycard Premier League gold badges (because my team are worthy non stop champions) and the logo of my fantasy football team. I've included some screenshots from fifa 2004 of the strip. You can find my team at: http://www.x3x.biz/files/inter.gif. I have the same team and everything on Championship Manager 2003/2004 and guess what, we are first in the Premier Division, go figure!

If you guys can make the Manchester United gold centenary 2002 shirt, I'd be very grateful.

I've used some of your kits and to be honest I think the kit raptor is crap because whenever I play teams the kits dont show and the players are covered in green and orange.

Glory Hunters

I currently live in Newcastle Upon Tyne, which you know is the famous home of Newcastle United football club. From time to time, I get people verbally telling me that I am a glory hunter because I support Manchester United.

I've noticed a few people on this forum come from many places throughout the world and yet they support football teams that aren't close to where they are living. Many people keep telling me that all people should support their hometown teams, but personally I think it's up to whoever decides. No one is wrong.

I used to support Newcastle United throughout the 90s when Newcastle were just a normal team into their 2nd or 3rd season in the Premier League, thanks to Mr Kevin Keegan, ofcourse. Newcastle did try to win the season and obtain the Premier League Trophy but in the end Manchester United won it, even though they were about 15 points behind Newcastle. After Kevin had left, Newcastle had another 3 managers within 3 years.

So I decided to start supporting Manchester United in 2000, why? Not because I was glory seeking, even though I was proud at the fact that they were currently the English and european champions, I loved the way they played and the precise passing and style of their game and they were always a better team and they'd go 20 games unbeaten.

Personally, I think you can support the f*ck you like, but I think whoever tells people that they should support their own team, obviously means that they are jealous of that person, maybe because the team that they are supporting is a much better team.

It's a shame that Newcastle haven't wona trophy in like 60 years. But every team has their turn and at this moment it's chelseas and arsenals turn but it won't be long before they are hanging on for their league status (for example Blackburn Rovers - they won the title and got relegated) but the sweet thing about this is that Manchester United might be down for now but we will be back and challanging for the title, might not happen in 10 years but it will happen one day, and I believe Liverpool will come bouncing back after their title hopes ended in the late 80s.

Anyway, what are your views on supporting teams, even though they might not be in the same town or country as you?

Your thoughts?

By the way, good luck to Manchester United on sunday as they taken on Newcastle United at St James' Park.

It's funny because Newcastle were beaten last season and went over there and I got some of the Manchester United signatures. I got: Ruud van Nistelrooys, Paul Scholes, Djemba-Djembas (he also shook my hand twice) and John O'Sheas. Oh and I shook Sir Bobby Robson's hand when he was going to his car (I was wearing my man utd goalkeeper shirt on, lol). These were signed on my man utd 2000-2003 red home shirt with 'Beckham no7' on it.

It's the only time I can get to see my team, even though I dont have a ticket to watch the game. I can watch the game on Sky Sports and then trott on down to the stadium and see if I can get some autographs again!

I was at St James Park a couple of month ago when they played the Ukraine, we all waited for beckham but he never showed and we heard that he was already on the plane with Michael Owen back to Spain. A little disappointed? VERY!

My views on supporting teams are : anyone who tells me that I`m a gloryhunter simply because I wasn`t born in Manchester can **** off . . . Being an Asian, it always pisses me of when I see some arogant European prick posting` threads bashin` Asian, or American supporter, callin` them gloryhunters, etc. I hate racism and especially discrimination. Every man from every race from every single country in the world can support whichever team they like. I haven`t switched team for more than 10 years and will never plan to do so.

I agree....but if Newcastle do manage to win tomorrow then all the people I know and people who know me, they'll rub it in as usual. But the way I see it is that Manchester United are a much better team historically. Arsenal or Chelsea might have their chance but ateast we won the first ever premier league title when the league was first made in 1992, atleast we were the first team in the 21st century to win the title, and atleast we were the first British team in 20 years to win the European cup.

Arsenal and Chelsea might think that Man Utd's glory days are over and that it's their turn to taste success but the way I see it, is that they did not achieve success the way that Man Utd did. We didn't need to buy a brand new stadium or get a billionaire in to buy success. Man Utd had to work hard by winning games and winning games helps the club financally and that is now we developed our stadium and brought in world class players.

We are a better club because Man Utd worked hard to gain their success, with arsenal, they have brought in half the french team, which maybe in my opinion cheating because France were the former world and european champions. And Roman Abramovic will realise that you cannot buy the league and try to gain success from that, thank god for last season, they didnt win anything.

Man Utd are a much better team than anyone in the league for those reasons. So if you want to support a team that doesn't play in your area, so ****, support the **** you like.

If all of your club team players played for the same international team, don't you think that they'd be more 'united' and 'close', and that is the secret of winning, team work. So really arsenal have no problems in that field saying as how nearly all of their team are french. And what's happening to the english players (Keown, Dixon, Parlour) they have all either retired or been sold. A little country-ist aren't we Wrenger?

Another issue is what's happened to the english game, yea sure bringing in foreigners makes the game more exciting, but it can't be good for the english game. You'd see more english players in the lower leagues now than you would in the premier league.

What ever happened to the foreign rule? Where you could only have 3 foreigners on a side? Sepp Blatter should enforce that law on the english game and eliminate the 'back-pass' goalie rule.
