Yes, there is Lingard too.

I think those players can easily play 15-20 minutes in Europa League, Carling and Fa cup. However, I want younger players to get more games and develop in those games.

I don't think Carrick, Young, Schweini, and even likes of Mata/Roja will stay next year ... It's really important that those games help Depay/Smalling/Ander/Jones/Lingard.

Apparently a deal was all arranged for Schweinsteiger to move to Sporting for free, including United making up the remainder of his wages, but he refused to go.

It's not my money, but IMO the guy is not really needed at United. He's on high wages and has little to offer besides experience and leadership qualities in the locker room, so I wouldn't mind it at all if the guy would be shipped off to whatever league for all I care.

I'd rather see TFM getting a shot at the DM position rather than playing the aging German guy there when the chance comes around.

Mourinho has made it pretty clear that he will never play for United again, but I guess he doesn't want to uproot his family or something and is happy to see out his contract from the reserves. A bit sad though, a rather ignominious end to a major career when he could have had a decent swansong in Portugal.

Agreed. But hey! It's not too late yet, the transfer window is still open, who knows what's on his mind. He doesn't strike me as a person who's willing to sit on the bench just by earning money for the sake of it. He clearly wants to play, so a move to whatever location could still be on the cards.

Call me weird but I thought he was good last season. Maybe I say that because I am used to see O'Shea, Fletcher, Rafael, Giggs etc play in midfield for years.

Schweinsteiger is in Man U's EPL list of 25. Man U has 9 "homegrown" players and Pogba is included as "homegrown"

Rashford scored a hattrick for England U21 v/s Norway U21. He clearly is too good for U21.



He should play in the senior team even though he is not starter for England. Alardyce called up Smalling even though he too is not starting games.

Rashford is IT. We are all just not prepared to say it because we don't believe Lionel messis can come with English name from English academies. He is the real deal 100m world class future balloon d'or winning superstar
