GSP FIFA 11 - Greek Superleague Patch v1.0
Patch Info:
Patch adds the Greek Super League (GSL) and top Cypriot teams into the ROW (Rest of World). Please note: you must have EA's v1.01 patch before you install this patch.
Patch details:
- Adds the Greek Super League into the game
- GSL now appears in Manager and tournament modes
- Playable Greek HOL Cup in tournament and manager mode
- Adds Cypriot teams: Anorthosis, APOEL, Omonoia into ROW
- Adds Cyprus National team
- Realistic team kits for all above leagues & teams
- Updated mini kits
- New team flags for all Greek and Cypriot teams
- Extra team flags (4 in total) have been added for: AEK Athens, Aris FC, Iraklis FC, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and PAOK.
- New team fonts and numbers
- Adds team sponsors to all teams
- Added new realistic banners for all the above teams.
- Adds official Greek SuperLeague Nike T90 Tracer ball

A noob and very rush question mogolos, have you planned any updates for the patch?
Our philosophy on that is simple. Make the installer as automated as possible. Its a pain for some of us but for most users it makes it easy to install. Last think I want to see on my site is ... the patch doesnt work, how to I install this, what folder should I put it into and so on.
Then again its not like you cant create a backup folder and install it right?

Got it. Rather sensible to be honest, cause there are much more people who want to play the patch then the people who want to install it manually 
And about backup - yes, I just was thinking about this thing.
Actually I've seen a thread here at soccergaming created by ... Diego Martinello I guess, in which he was talking about the option of the own exe/sceneassets folder/squads file- don't remember what is was exactly.
And it really would be a very nice feature for any big patch not to interfere with the original fifa files

As far as a vanilla install goes, I think the best way to do this (without loosing your mind) is one of two ways:
1) Create a backup of the game folder (and rename it when u want to play a patched or vanilla install)
or
2) Use Outsider's Version Switcher (probably the easiest of the two)
Unfortunately there is no way to create a patch without having it interfere with the original game (otherwise it wouldnt be called a patch right?)
I'd go with Outsiders version switcher this way you can have the best of both worlds with little effort

any patch we create will interfiere with the original game, period. u guys can backup ur dbs if u wanna play other carrers and stuff, but there's no way every patch will be independent. and even if it is, it'd be f***** up. have u seen PES independent patches ? at some time, all of em get screwed.
