Feedback for Fidel:

Running HG + AI 1.4.

Observations:

- Teammates attempt to assist, but they do not often try to dispossess the ball from the opposing team.
- Teammates do not try to run towards loose balls by themselves
- Teammates run to open spaces very well!
- Dribbling improved. If you have a good dribbler, they have a very good chances to be able to dribble past 1-2 maybe even 3 players at times.
- Shooting is pretty good, it is slower due to the heaviness of the ball, but at least no EASY goals.
- Skilled players can shoot balls past the goalkeeper by keeping it close to the post.
- Sometimes players, when using sprint will run past the ball instead of shoot it, and then will scramble to get in place to shoot. This is worse in rain.
- PC's passes far superior to players, even with weaker teams. This can be fixed with the sliders however. Sometimes when I am trying to pass the ball to a forward player, it will go past them, as they attempt to get the ball with a slide or stretch. Its nice but can be frustrating at times.
- Teammate contain not as useful as 1.3 + HG i believe.
- It seems harder to dispossess the ball off of oppsition players. Sometimes it takes 3 of my defensive players in the box to take the ball from the attacking player. Granted this might be an issue with my skills and reactions. I think part of it might be due to the fact that our own players won't run for loose balls, and we have to do it.
- with a strong team, like barcelona, excellent passing can probably be done.
- Rain: rain still causes some decent issues for gameplay. Players no longer forget the ball as much which is nice, but goalskeepers seem to get a bit confused with rain. Yesterday opposite team passed the ball back to goalkeeper and it just went in to the goal.

Thats it for now, i'll add more as i continue to play and test. So far, very nice, but quite a bit harder than AI 1.3 and HG combo.

Please look at that problem with the scoreboards Fidel when you have time, many users are having this problem
Asides from that, the mod works superbly

Hi fidel, I use just your AI 1.4 and see no Foul. I think this is cause I don't use the your db ecc ecc, but there's a way( or a string to edit in cl.ini) to increase the aggressivity and so the number of foul ? Thank, great work!

Big sorry for the big delay but lately I've been very busy!
On my little free time I prefer to work to the gameplay to make it as real as possible.

Fresh infos to everyone:

GP EVO AI and MDW Scoreboard problem issue will be solved as soon as possible.

I'm working to a new big gameplay update (HG 2.0_b and new AI Series 2.0_b)
I switch directly to new series 2 cause I introduce many new and different tweaks into fifa14 gameplay.
At moment I archived and made possible:
cpuai is really different, now it reacts differently compared to what we do,
cpuai different reaction I mean the psychological reaction and not the physical reaction (but also connected)
this means a new and different cpuai mental character.
Now you will see big cpuai fouls and sliding/standing tackles from behind in the penalty box (that's really a gameplay revolution!)
Now when you have the ball, you must cover the ball by using associated button, and cpuai push and tackle strong.
Everytime cpuai foul and give a direct red card (that's really a gameplay revolution!)
This happens because cpuai itterrupts a clear goal action with tackle, last man defender,
(rememeber to release speed and use protect ball, also you have to use player's accel and decel and protection of the ball and so on).
Another big implementation consists in the fact that now when the cpuai perform a sliding or standing tackles it hits your player.
Increased cpuai long balls and horizontal play, now AI pass the ball to every field zone with all pass types,
Increased cpuai long shoots from all the directions and field zone,
now cpuai is really an assassin (good players) when it have a clear view it frequently shot lethal bombs from distance.
New cpuai football pass, combinations, new cross and more.
Maybe on HG still a problem with stamina behavior (this cause problem by using with the default original db).
I'm working to this stamina issue (low energy reduction during the match),
but the problem will be solved/fixed by using the next gp evo db update (0.7 - upcoming).
Now you will see new player animations, but some are not correctly performed, I'm working to fix.
Removed many other cpuai cheats (maybe it decrese a bit the glodal game diffulty, but is balanced I think, anyway I wait for feedback).
New gp evo db updated on according to latest Ariel MDWM and official game rosters update come out this week.
I release 3 db types:
1) the original db updated (for example regularcat latest db) with my gp evo gameplay db injected (compatible with new HG 2.0 stamina system)
2) the moddingway latest updated db with my gp evo gameplay db injected
3) the moddingway latest updated db with matrix + gameplayzed fifacittiu + my gp evo gameplay db injected
New gp evo AI 2 Series is compatible with HG 1.0, gp evo DB, original db.
I want to release also an AI with included directly into ini file my slider settings.
Now the user have really many more combo gameplay sets
(you can manual mix some my old/new HG, AI, DB, and others gameplay mods from sg forum).

I use HG 2.0 + AI 2.0 + DB 0.7 (the same pack which I upload today)
All match played on CM Mode - WC difficulty.

I finalize some value in the ini and upload today the new full beta gameplay mod (HG 2.0 + AI 2.0 + DB 0.7).
The best thing included in the new gp mod is: the impression that in the game now anything related to real soccer could happen!

That sounds great!
I found what causes the scoreboards not to work
When you select an scoreboard, ex. ESPN and force it, it adds a line in the cl.ini
The problem is that when you do that with your mod, it doesn't add the line in the cl.ini
I added it manually and it works perfecctly :cool:

- God, this is true? Because the CPU AI Cheat is the most anoying thing about the game. Can you speak a little about that? Where you find the cheat "switch on/off"? It's really there? What the "switches" do? Because while annoying thousands of players, EA deny the existence of Momentum/Handicap/RubberBand Effect (even being there so clear that it's impossible to deny). I almost crash my controller, sometimes CPU cheat so hard that I became very angry. My neighbor play Fifa too, constantly I hear him bashing the game very loudly. It's simply impossible to have a balanced match without toying with the sliders, to give us a lot of boost. I play in World Class difficult (I gave up playing in Legendary).

EDIT: Fidel, the files are not in your skydrive (AI 2.0, DB 0.7)

Actually they deny there is any scripting in their games, which is true. The emotional engine boosts CPU ability but it doesn't assure specific game outcomes (scripting).

Sort of like telling someone you don't have a dollar bill to lend them even though you have 4 quarters in your pocket.

hi Fidel ! awesome job ! but I notice that the AI is so much aggressive than before and they always score a headed goal, and AI use excessive long pass is like AI is cheating ,is there any way you can fix that please?

Oh man, your latest db and players tackling is awesome. Let me just say - Walcott with 67 acc and 68 speed, wait what? But players avoid the ball if passed and that's really stupid.

fidel, can you tell me why your new db 0.7 is still old?
I see there's no change for manchester united squad, like still have powell and bebe.
why you don't make the db up to date for the transfer?

I expect your new db is up to date, but 0.7 is still old

I'm a little confused at the different choices of gameplay adjustments. Why do you, Fidel, use cl.ini while some other people use rna.ini

What is the difference? Can I combine both or only use one file?

Thanks for your work!

Few issues with this. First, the AI is too good. Your teammates don't do anything to stop crosses so the AI gets easy goals, clean sheets are impossible. Five games, the AI scores in the first 20 minutes in each of the five, with a cross to a header being the only way they seem to be able to score.

Second, weak penalty calls. Small collisions in the box, or the AI doing a trick move and running into my player, all get called as penalties by the ref. I am happy that the ref actually exists compared to default play, but games see too many penalties called in the box. But almost no penalties called with collisions. The AI can grab me and run into me when I have the ball, the ref only seems to care about tackles.

And too many quick yellow cards. My first sliding tackle always gets a yellow, the ref is way too strict.

Clearances in your own half, by goalie or player, seem to go high up in the air and only 10 yards forward. They should at least go to the halfway line.

I don't see long shots anymore by the AI.

Other than those little issues, everything is great about this mod. Thanks again!
