I like the last one with the Indian head replaced by the Sky Needle (or whatever it's called....)

Is this the actual Sounders from USL coming into MLS, or are they going to screw the original Sounders out of their marketplace?

The latter.

I'm sure they're looking to create some sort of agreement.

Personally if I lived in Seattle and was a fan of the current Sounders who play in the USL I would much rather have a bad MLS team replace them.

Congrats to DC for the Sup-Shield win

Damn the Playoff race goes down the wire - awesome ! :clapwap:

Single Table :clapwap:
with or without playoffs doesn't matter to me - I like it both ways - but I hate the "divisioning" alltough I can see why they did it (mainly travelling, time)

Don Garber appearently had some updates on Expansions, DP rule etc during the LA NY game - my stream was without sound - so I don't know what he said sadly. anyone can update me ?

Personally I would like to keep the DP rule the same no expand it (at least not yet) + the basic salaries of the lowest earnes raised so they don't have to have a full time job otherwise.

Great Entertainment so fair this season as a whole :clapwap:

If you're watching the TFC-Revs match, you just saw the goal of the season. Michael Parkhurst just chipped the keeper from his own half. Rhode Island represent!

Also, in other news, Toronto FC is still horribly overrated.

What a Goal :clapwap:

They may be overrated but the got one hell of an audience...

now fingers crossed - the results go in G's favour tonight - so it really goes till the last regular season game for the decider.

While the Toronto-Revs game produced the goal of the year, the KC-Dallas game has already produced the miss of the year.

Eddie Johnson rounded the Dallas keeper at the top of the penalty area. He then had an eternity to shoot at an empty net, with only one Dallas defender protecting it. Johnson ended up dribbling toward the goal until he was about 8 yards out, and then proceeded to miss the goal completely, sending the ball high over the bar.

At that point the score was tied 0-0 with KC's playoff spot on the line.

even worse was colorados clark (I think) - he must feel a complete t*t.

empty goal, all the time in the world and hits the post....
colorado lose 1-0 at home to RSL with a Findley goal

LA Galaxy have a chance, and it's down to the last game of the season !

who would have though that after playing for most of the season like a bunch of guys that seem to have just met in the lot, the L.A Galaxy would be one game away from going to the playoffs??

Unbelievable. We out-shot the Galaxatives 10-0 in the first half, and we're still tied 0-0. I hope justice will prevail, and we won't see a repeat of the Galaxy's group stage Superliga game against Pachuca, where the Mexicans beat them like a drum for 90 minutes and still lost.

One goal for chicago after countless one-on-one opportunities with the keeper, that really is bad. As for L.A... They better work hard in the off-season and learn to play as one team alongside beckham.. Otherwise all the hype would have been just that... :(

Congrats Fire, the better team qualified, the Galaxy really had no business to even be in this position, they were absolutely terrible all season long. Oh by the way I love how the stoppage time goal came from Beckham's bad back pass, lawl.

Here are the final standings:

2008 SuperLiga: DC United, Chivas USA, Houston Dynamo, New England Revolution
2008 Champions Cup: DC United, MLS Cup Champions

Play-offs starts on Thursday and to be honest I have no f*cking clue how the MLS came up with the mach-ups. How in the world there can still be a East West bracket is beyond me seeing as 5 teams from the East qualified and only 3 from the West. It's a confusing mess.

Anyway I'm thinking about getting tickets for the final, DC is only like 7-8 hours driving from Charlotte so why the hell not.

John-f**kin'-Thorrington??? Of all the people that could have scored that goal! John-f**kin'-Thorrington! After innumerable misses by Wanchope, Barrett, Blanco, Rolfe, Conde... John-f**kin'-Thorrington finds the back of the net! Well, I'll take it. Bring on DC.

At least we can put the "MLS headquarters wants LA to win" conspiracy theories behind us. We got by with a little help from Alex Prus... two penalty non-calls, and he allowed Blanco to get away with pretty much anything he wanted. Still, we deserved to win... we out-shot the Gals 22-5 (10-1 on target) in a game that they needed to win.

Credit to Chicago overall seen today they were the better side, having much more chances. Cannon saved the G's multiple times.

Blanco is a very good player - but aswell a whinny, always comentating, clapping b@stard. Good Luck.

Could have been some penalty calls again today - but since we didn't do anything in the 1st half - we wouldn't have deserved it to go trough.

As for the Galaxy - who would have thought we even would have something to play for at the end of this season...

next year they will get a more balanced fixture list, a fresh start and hopefully less injuries and better performances.
