Lol I took that pic and yes, the majority of the fans were Mexican. There was a pretty good mix of Chivas and Barca fans there. If you look out into the crowd the ones in white are Chivas and red is Barca. That said, I saw Celtic, Ajax and ManU shirts as well. Pretty much anyone who was into soccer in the LA area was there. Check the Barca team thread for more pix and a writeup.

That is bollocks mate and you know it. I think "no one" might be an exaggeration. The hype I'm talking about has been all over the MLS webpages for 2 weeks now. It was hyped up....end of.....fu<k off :ewan:

Casual MLS fans who don't know much about soccer thought that it was a big deal but rabbid MLS fans didn't think much of it. Check out bigsoccer every once in a while. As for the national media? I think the game had a 30 second highlight on sports center towards the end of the show.

the australian football press that mentioned the game only covered it for like 10 seconds. I assume it would be the same as Chelsea themselves. Not taking it seriously and just a vacation to the states :p
