I'm expecting this for tomorrow:

I disagree with the formation but LvG as stubborn as he is will choose something like that.

Di Maria can't defend and if played there will be a huge liability. He is also thin and will be out-muscled there as a CM. He should play right/left wing. Not right wingback.

EDIT: Lol 2 Jones. Smalling or Evans instead of 1 Jones.

di María's Man Yoo debut will be the first time Nady will actually see him play ...

I have watched all Argentina games at the world cup u moron!!

I have watched both United v/s Madrid games also!

That's what I have seen of him at a minimum. That's 8 games already; enough to judge him.

I mean he can defend but being a central midfielder in the EPL is very different to being a central midfielder in La Liga.

In a 2 man midfield he'll HAVE to defend more than in a 3 man midfield. At Madrid, he played alongside 2 more defensive minded midfielders therefore he had some defending too but he had a lot of freedom to create chances and go forwards.

Di Maria can play as midfielder because he is intense (do a lot of things and do it fast) but he's a forward, main problem with the Di Maria midfielder is that he is pure chaos, make his team run instead control the game.

Modric, Khedira, Xabi Alonso, Illaramendi

Deep lying playmaker, defensive midfielder, deep lying playmaker, defensive midfielder.
so Modrić the playmaker, instead of playmaking, is being defensive minded, so that di María can have freedom? EDIT: and you realize that Xabi Alonso was also a starter in that 3-man midfield, who even you have listed as another DLP? so where are those two other defensive minded midfielders that di María played alongside? :-D

Don't be silly. All these players play deep and help in defense more than Di Maria does. Modric is not necessarily "defensive minded" but he often plays deep.

Also, next time. Make sure you read carefully.

I said that at Madrid, Di Maria plays with 2 "more defensive minded" players. What I meant was that they sit deeper and do more defending than Di Maria. I didn't mean to say that they are pure defensive midfielders.

De Telegraaf reports that we've agreet a fee for Blind (£18 mil), sort of reliable source too, they broke the story about van Gaal coming to United. Would be great if true, he seems like a true utility man like O'Shea but actually good.

18m euro actually i.e £14m

If true, finally a player we are not overpaying for.

Youth Team
De Gea, Jones, Evans, Blackett, Valencia, Young, Fletcher, Di Maria, Mata, Rooney, van Persie

DI MARIA STARTING!!!! He starts centrally with Fletcher. Good move. When we get all our injured players back and Rojo, we'll go to 4-3-3 or 4-4-2

Watching this stream with terrible quality and russian commentary, was happy to see us dominating, then realised we're the ones playing in white.

I got the lineup 100% right.

RvP looks rusted. This formation encourages SHIT players like Young and Valencia to play.
