Ronaldo doesnt carry the team. Other players contribute in different ways. In Europe maybe they have a different opinion on what carrying the team means. Most people would say that because hes got most goals and assists. But what do you think players like Scholes and Carrick and Vidic are doing???????? There not just drinking lucozade playing cards man,. They are in the TEAM of the Season for a reason. Because they are players of the season and have performed better than most players in the league.

The idea of a player carrying a team like United is utter nonsense. I dont think Scholes has done nothin all season, Van der sar, vidic, Evra, all players that made it into the team of the season. Saying Ronaldo carrying the team is like saying the rest of the team aint done nothing. Why are they in the team of the season if they havent done anything???????

1. Who has stated that they are the team of the season?

2. As I have seen, this team has been very succsessful in the EPL, however, how would thay do if they had to play in the Serie A? See the first half against Milan. They did suffer against a tactically almost perfect team, didn't they?

if utd were in serie A theyd walk it frankly. and most teams missing 3/4s of their 1st choice back four is going to suffer regardless of who they play, i mean hell it would struggle against most of the lower epl teams. Utd alwaysplay from the back and missing key distributers of the ball like gary and rio is going to impede how well the midfield players. it took alot of effort to get back into the match, but with the news that rio and vidic should be back for the return leg i dont think milan will have it as easy as they did in the first half.

im not being over confident, i just realisitically think that we would have it pretty easy if we were in serie a, the same goes for a lot of premiership teams. while there is some genuine quality in serie a its very small compared to the epl were while there is a big top4 theres teams that would push a lot of teams in europe i feel.
