With Ferdinand gone from January 12th - September 12th.

We'll have atleast 2 weeks to sign someone during January, before the ban comes in-affect.

Burdisso from Boca, very impressive against AC Milan, and is not cup-tied or somebody like Michael Dawson, but these are just names, we have Brown coming back and p.Neville can play full-back with Butt back :D

Definately dont need another midfielder.....with Ferdinand banned wee should be lookin for a defender and a striker.

With Ferdinand being banned, we will very likely have to put up the cash to buy Lucio, definitely, just like you guys said. What striker should United go after, though? :confused: Most of the strikers we are interested in are cup-tied so any move probably won't improve are chances in the CL.

From what I've read, we're going to bid for Deco in the summer. 25 million Euros I believe. If we manage to get him, we should then go after Kezman IMO. He's expressed some interest in the club so why not?

For now, I think the moves we make in January will be focused on winning the league because it looks pretty difficult to win the CL with how things have shaped up as of late.

i am quite worried on the ferdinand issue to tell the truth.. 8 months is an inmense time to go on without our most costly -scratch that- the worlds most costly defender... who brings so much to our club... on another note, any rumors on which striker fergie is pondering on purchasing?
