Old Septic strikes again. Somehow if United were doing this to Real Madrid - I think FIFA would be of a different opinion. I need no more evidence that Real are FIFA's blue eyed boys - they've got away with this for years.

In any case I'm resolved to not let Ronaldo ruin the rest of my summer - He's already clouded our glorious achievements enough.

I read that Everton were eyeing up Darren Fletcher for a £5M move - that would be good business IMO, Darren never really hit any consistency - despite very occasional hints of brilliance.

Chris Eagles is being lined up by Burnley too - I think he's probably gone as far as he can with us, he just never made the big step up to the first team for any length of time. Even if Ronaldo leaves, there's still Giggs, Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves to fill in the wing.

Lee Martin is a better player than Eagles in my opinion anyway.

Also looks like Carlos is going, but unlike other Portuguese - I'm sure he'll go with thanks and best wishes from the United faithful. Choccy is being touted to take CQ's job alongside Fergie.

The TV news confirmed him for 4 seasons, the value of the transference was 1 Million, but im waiting for the official presentation.

Sepp Blatter opened his yap again and acted stupid...

I got something to say about this issue, of how FIFA #1 basically tells the whole world of football to disrespect their contract and how Blatter has made double standards :
http://red-blood-blog.blogspot.com/

What a ******* **** that guy is....

You're right Blatter would do well to shut up, and I sympathize with Utd for this whole Ronaldo saga. If the club says he's not for sale then it should be that simple. If Ronaldo wants to play for Madrid next year, then he should have thought of that before he signed his contract that states otherwise. I'm not saying that if a player wants to leave his club while under contract that club should always keep him, I'm only saying that the it IS the clubs decision whether they make the wrong or right one.

Sepp Blatter has no idea what real slavery was about so he should just shut up on that. Ronaldo willingly signed a contract with us and he must honour it. Allowing him to simply walk away will send out the wrong message to the world. Whether we like it or not, we are Manchester United and other clubs do follow our lead.

As for Ronaldo agreeing with those comments, I have not seen any quotes to back it up just yet so I will withold my opinion on that.

blatter is just laughable and a twat

and for the interview with ronaldo in lisbon
he has admitted he wants to go and im sick of his stupid lookin smerk
let real come and get him on our terms and im sure our terms is money as the only players from real would be wesley casilles and robinho

hope ronaldo is sold and dont care where he ends up

I saw Ronaldo in the TV talking about what Blatter said ( He agreed with him ), and he can be a great player, but his attitude with M.United is very poor. Im one of the big percentage that believes Ronaldo will be useless in Madrid and i have to say that United in this coming season will be better without him, he disrespected the club, so the moral of the supporters about him if he stays would be 0%. Manchester has Anderson, Nani, etc.. What a team that united has! Good luck for Ronaldo and his dishonourable attitude.

Mr. Bladder is an !d!ot. How dare he bring up slavery! This whole Ronaldo thing is facking absurd. I hope he ends up at Young Boys. I really don't want him to come over to us.

Bladder is an !d!ot. Ronaldo is under contract. My, how the meaning of contract has been skewed in football! Quite frankly, I don't like Ronaldos attitude and wouldn't want him on Madrid. We've dealt with the whole Galactico mentality not too long ago.

Help?

I just hope that the only reason United are holding out is to get more money out of Real, because its either that or they don't know how to replace him. When Beckham, Keane, RvN left they went out the door fast and Ferguson long had a plan in place to replace them, but it doesn't seem to be the case right now. I hope i'm wrong.

Um, i would love too be a slave in Blatters world. what a flamin' moron.

Real have backed off, cuz they know what it will take to get Ronaldo to Madrid and they really dont want to spend that much.

Either way i could care less, Untied get a massive sum of cash or we keep our player.

Note to Cristiano Ronaldo:
You wanted to play for Madrid? Why the hell did you sign the contract? That piece of paper (or rather ream, as i'm sure it was), says your life and livelyhood basically belong to the club, at least in a footballing sense. If you didn't understand this, then blame your agent. Its his fault and yours, not the club's. Anyway, you are NOT A SLAVE. Slavery implies involuntary servitude, and you ******* volunteered. I have no pity for you. At this point, I hope you ******* sit on the reserves bench for the remaining FOUR YEARS of your contract. I hope you never play another professional game again. You are a disgrace to the club, the league, and the sport that I love.

Sepp Blatter:
Go take a primary-school level law course. Until you do that, you have no business discussing contract issues.

Edit: Another note. I'm really tweaked by these two idiots.
To call Ronaldo's contract slavery is absolutely insulting and degrading to the millions of impoverished people in the world who really are forced to work against their will. There are people in the world who do backbreaking labor for 14 hours a day, 365 days a year for pennies a day or less. I'd like to see Cristiano last one bloody day in the conditions these people deal with.
Stupid, pompous, spoiled brat.
