Be interesting to know why the sudden change of heart, cant quite understand it. He was a quality player.

Wonder what happened, you dont just wake up one morning being a player of the premiership champions then say I know, I'll move too there arch rivals.

Fergie said he would have no problem playing him, I don't think he will take it personally, Heinze is not a guaranteed starter at Man Utd when he would be at Liverpool, he is just trying to do the best for his career I can't hate a guy for that.

agreed, hes a great player. Pitty he doesn't want to stay, would be great for rotation with evra. Never know that might just happen.

Personally I could understand Gaby wanting to be at a club where he's first choice, at his stage in his career he needs regular football. Like Smudge and Guiseppe I would wish him all the best if he moved on. What I can't understand is why he fails to see that a move to Liverpool / Arsenal or Chelski is unthinkable and certainly would be seen by the majority of fans as the most unpardonable sin a United player could commit (look at Paul Ince)

If he does stay then he'll have to work very hard to rebuild the affection the fans had for him. We still chant "Argentina Argentina" but it'll be for Carlos.

Nice sig by the way. (Y)

How can he possibly stay after taking us to court, trying to force us to sell him to pool repeatedly, we cannot tolerate such behaviour.

I hope he fvcks of asap or rots in the reserves
Couldn't stand watchin him in United's shirt again

The way I see it if I was happily working at a company under a contract and wanted to move as it was at a better location, pay, doing more of what I like to do etc, i'd try force a move out of that company.

Its all hes done, head hunters come, made a offer, hes looking out for himself, cuz lets be frank Man U dont care about him, if a better player came along they would potential buy them.

Also past history shouldnt have to effect him, were rivals alright but its not as if there after each others blood. When internationals kick in half of the people playing on both teams are best m8s. People take these things too far, he's just trying to improve his career.

He'll get boo'ed ? He's lost all respect from me in my opinion. He's actually tried to force through a move to our most hated rivals, and disrespected the club in every way possible. He quite obviously doesn't want to play for us, so I don't want him to play for us either. Hopefully we'll sell him to the first club coming, provided they pay the wanted money.
Agree 100%.
he just lost all my respect!

Fergie in SOS plea to Saha
Louis Saha will answer Manchester United’s SOS for goals by returning to action against Spurs. Saha has not started a game for the Red Devils since 24 February, scoring in a 3-2 win over Reading. Knee problems have blighted his time at United but he has a healthy goalscoring record. United were set to sell him at the end of last season but more injury problems put paid to that. Now Saha, 29, wants to resurrect his Old Trafford career, starting against Tottenham on Sunday. The French striker has been training at full pelt for 10 days and was close to being called up to the bench for Sunday’s Manchester derby at Eastlands, which United lost 1-0. With goals hard to come by, boss Alex Ferguson will now throw him straight into the action.
Neil Custis, The Sun

Heinze to westham?
The Sun claim West Ham have made a "sneaky" inquiry about Heinze, which the publication believe Sir Alex may pursue. The manager has a good relationship with Hammers boss Alan Curbishley.

Edwin injured
Edwin van der Sar was reportedly injured last night while training with the Dutch national team. The Mirror say the United goalkeeper landed awkwardly and hurt his left leg. It's not known if the injury is likely to keep him out of this Sunday's match against Tottenham.

Saha back, VDS out... potentially. Wonder who will replace VDS if he ain't fit.

Then I want to ask the Premier League why it was so difficult for Liverpool to sign Javier Mascherano, when we had to wait a long time for the paperwork, but it was so easy for Carlos Tevez to join Manchester United?
Wait...signing carlos tevez was easy? see, i thought it took two and a half months of untangling the miles of red tape he was steeped in...
I guess i was wrong</sarcasm>

Everyone's Favourite Diabetic
if its true... all the best Gabby :( even though he went against the club, he was always one of my favourites, i admire his courage and mentality on the pitch - regardless of his actions off of the pitch.
