I think he has learnt to relish this kind of behaviour. I think Ronaldo sort of likes playing the villain, he doesn't mind being boo'ed and has admitted it just spurs him to do better. Maybe it's a factor towards why he has become the great player he has. I think the drama between England and Portugal has mad him into a better player, because he has learnt to peform so well throughout the controversy. Look at the Newcastle game for example, he wasn't been given an inch by the referee in the first half, and was obviously frustrated, and the Newcastle fans were boo'ing him. So he comes out in the second half, and scores a hat trick.
