It will be sad if Pique leaves, but then again is hard to break-up an awesome partnership between Rio and Vidic. Pique deserves to play, but that will be difficult at Man U. And besides that we have Evans also coming through....

Unfortunately you get used to stories like this at United, I remember when we let Sylvain Ebanks Blake go, or Phil Bardsley - of course the hardest one to see recently was Giuseppe Rossi. Pique is a great player, but unless something happens to Rio or Vida then he'll be restricted to being a bit part player.

Actually I've found soccernet to be quite dependable. They(and even the FOX soccer website) mostly report the same news that is found on BBC/Setanta/Uefa/Sky Sports....very occassionally they report something that is not (directly or indirectly) on any of those websites.

And frankly, Ronaldo (arguably best player in the world) saying what he said IS headline(lead story) worthy.

Exactly, so Ronaldo comes in and sasys what he said the first season he was here. Then one ****ty site that tries to sell newspapers twists the headline as usual to get more attention, everybody else follows their suit. And then Setanta, FSW and soccernet follow them. And frankly, they would look like idiots not to, after a one full year of posting every little bit of speculation of Real chasing Ronaldo.



As far as Pique is concerned, until i see it on every single website, including United and Barca website's, i'm not even gonna bother thinking about it.

Cheers guys, i'm hoping for a good game tomorrow, but as i wrote in Chelsea's thread i'm slightly leaning towards Chelsea although i don't really care, but i've come across some really harsh statements from some of the new Man u fans.

I guess that's always the thing with clubs that are currently on top and I consider Manchester to be one of the strongest and with Ronald one of the most attractive clubs right now, there are always these wannabe fans that come just because you won the PL and have such quality players like Rooney and Ronaldo, but that's not why it bothers me,it's because those kind of fans usually **** on everything else which is completely not needed, i'm sad but currently Man U has these fans, year and a half ago they where all rooting for Barca.
Though not here on SG you guys are still cool , ok lordspawn pisses me off a bit here and there but that's it , but i don't have beef nor soy with no-one.

I know, and that stains football for me, anyways i've seen all these articles on Ronaldo ''leaving'' man u and it's bull****, only the press trying to sell their news nothing else, i hope he stays with you guys 'till retirement, i hate to see symbols of the club leaving, cause no matter how good he would be in real he would have always meant more to you than them if he stays. P.s. I even see some real fans uncomfortable with their clubs policy and i really appreciate and value those people cause, they should do like every other big club does; build their own stars and by the way they have Ronbinho and should build everything around that kid, he is their symbol and their star, also bringing more stars would implode their team like Barca did this year, so hope you keep Ronaldo for ever and hope for a good game tomorrow. Thanks for the kind words about Ronaldo, but to be honest I just can't see that Ronaldo's future will be with us in the long run.

He is just too good that's why. He is the kind of player that always look for a new challenge, shutting people's mouth up. I don't mean that he is not a loyal player, but players like him, when they feel that they have nothing else to prove, they will leave and look for a new challenges.

This guy is so good for football. It's a shame, in my personal opinion, if the pitch of Bernabeu or Nou Camp don't have the chance to be graced by him. He is the guy that has the capability to be a legend in more than one club.

I just feel that Ronaldo will leave sometime in the future... But definitely not next season. And he said it before that his dream is to end his career with Sporting Lisbon, a club he truly considers his home.

Probably only in London it is Chelsea biased, if it was Arsenal of course it would Arsenal-biased. Well, if this will cheer yer up, a majority of football websites, and blogs are all gunning for United, from what I've seen anyway.
Who cares about that, right? What's important is the game itself. If I wasn't bored to death waiting, I'd close all monitors until the actual match begins, and let the media and "expert" pundits on their own trip.
