Sad to admit that...but yea... I prefer Brown or Heinze to play alongside Rio.
Fergie has put Richardson and Rossi on the bench...would he also try Pique?

I agree, prefer Heinze in the centre & Silvestre at left back ....... I think they should get another centre back ......

Pique will be fine, Fergie doesn't want to rush him. I think we're OK for central defenders, but Silvestre needs to improve his concentration - he just seems to switch off sometimes. Brown and O'Shea are capable and Neville can fill in, so can Heinze if needed. And don't forget we have Spector on loan at Charlton too if Heinze is pulled into the centre.

Love us to get Cicinho though :)

cicinho would be a good addition but at first we should go for a midfielder. hopefully your news is correct that we go for ballack

I hope so - Ballack would be an excellent addition.

Yeah, but Roy Keane is 34 ish. That means that Ballack could give United three or four years and buy Fergie the time to find a long term solution. Ballack certainly has the quality required by United and can also offer his years of experience to the younger members of the squad. I'm surprised that all these defensive midfielders that have gone to other Premiership clubs haven't been considered - like Sissoko for example.

Ballack is no DM - he's an offensive player with great heading, freekicks but very poor tackles. he would improve United's dead ball situations but about "bossing" the midfield - forget it and do it soon...

He is not the player ManUtd needs in midfield. + I highly doubt he'd fit to the EPL, his technique is good, but he is not the quickest in terms of receiving the ball and play it on - he'd be more suited for La Liga or Seria A IMO.

Sometimes I wonder too why weren't we interested in that Sissoko, Van Bommel, Carrick etc
