Hans said:Who needs technique when you can own an opponent midfield and beat the hell out of them like a punching bag ? Look at Keane, not very technical but strong and fierce. That`s what I see from Diop, he owns people as if they`re his bitches.
GoldenSpike said:Saying that Keane wasn't very technical is sh*te. Although he was a hard man, people seem to forget he was actually very technically gifted, although not flashy. You can't command the best midfield in the world if you aren't technically gifted.
we should for Zokora and de Jong rather than Diop. Diop is almost past his prime.Dazmania said:Diop is overrated, i'd much prefer to see Zokora at United. btw Davis at Villa has signed a new contract.
Gennaro Gattuso, Didier Deschamps, Claude Makelele, I can name you lots of other players who is not technically gifted but play a major role in the midfield cos of their work ethic, and Keane is one of them .GoldenSpike said:Saying that Keane wasn't very technical is sh*te. True... We have showed that we can play well with our players.ryan_goal said:Thx for the highlight. Saha seems to have rediscovered his fine form after a series of injuries. Good football on display, YET AGAIN.
The only thing you can complain is why we haven't started playing like this earlier in the season.

I read the newspaper and it said that 37 points in the first 17 pemier league games this season is the fifth high among our recent 10 seasons at the same stage. So we are not playing badly, but Chelsea is really doing very very well.
As for the Carling Cup game, Ronaldo really impressed me! He dribbles at the right time, makes many off-the-ball runs and passes more. He really helps the team in the attack and I think he suddenly improves a lot in this game. He finally realised that football is a teamwork, but not a one-man show.
Hope he can keep this good form and attitude to the game going.
Saha also did well, scoring two and always fights for the ball but not think of any diving.
Nice game for us!
ladylover said:Ronaldo has personal problems ( his father's death and rape allegations) he couldn't handle them, that's why he was benched the last couple of games and that his performances were below par. SAF and the others are helping him alot to cope with these problems
