smith pretty good won a few balls with clean tackles

man we totally raped west ham with our passing..should have been a 4-1 mauling at least. scholes,ruud,rooney,park what link up play. Why cant we play like this in europe.

Smith was working hard as usual, he wasn't bad, but still no DM and for Gary, the team started playing better when he came on,

It's not Smith's fault though for being played out of position. And Fergie definitely has to play Park more. Park is class, Fergie just has to know how to utilize him. Park has the experience. He's been in the World Cup for South Korea and he's played in the Champions League for PSV. He might still need to adjust a little bit to the English game but that will only happen if Park plays more games... he can't always be coming off the bench. Though he did start today, that was good to see. Fletcher is disappointing though, I don't know what Fergie sees in him. As well as a couple other players in our squad. I'm just not satisfied with the team we have. What I really hope for is a suitable replacement for Keane, SOON. And I don't even know if that's going to happen.

A bit pessimistic after win, yes, but I felt I needed to do some ranting. It's been a while.

To make one thing clear I wasn't referring to playing exactly as Barcelona, I was trying to say that the way we attacked was fast, finding free spaces, running into them, no passing around the ball 30 times before attacking etc, it was fast, West Ham didn't get alot of time to come in to the defensive positions, Ruud, Rooney, Park and Fletcher were all over the place.

And Scholes was good, distributing the ball and creating a few chances for himself and the others

So fergie says hes got his idea target lined up for the summer, and that he will be a manc. Apparently he is cup tied, so with that clue in mind, who do you all think it is?

Best guess ive heard so far is Diarra.

We played well in this game. We did have some great one-twos and we did create many chances.

Nice set up by Park, a great game of Rooney and Scholes. Ruud's chip shot is class, but the bar.... :nape:

But there are still something we can do better in defending.
For the first goal conceded, Brown run forward and Etherington was left unmarked. However Rio didnt close down Etherington nor go and mark Harewood. We always concede the goals while Rio standing there near to the scorer but he seems to have no attempt on intercepting the ball or do any sliding tackles to clear the ball... He should always look around and see if there is any player behind him.

At least we can come back and get all 3 points. Still, when Rooney scores we can win the game.

It could be, but I don't think that SAF is going to make his choice based on some players unhappy wife and I think Gatusso wouldn't want to leave atm., and I don't think that Milan would want to sell him, he is one of the key players, it is like selling Kaka

i didn't say he was making his decision on his unhappy wife :rolleyes: i was suggesting that there is the possibility of him leaving...

gattuso could b a possible target 2...united been rumoured with buying him almost every season for the past 3 season i think.....
