isnt that he did with that amercian footballl team?

No, he tore down the old stadium and built a newer, modern stadium.

Raymond James' Stadium.

The cash for the stadium came out of our pockets, though.

I agree!
I dont think we will see him start so many games, but surly he will be on the bench (if he get's fit tough) can only hope!
We need him to come on in the 70 minute and turn the game,as he used to do before!

Anyway, more Glazer:

United legal threat

By Mihir Bose (Filed: 18/04/2005)

The Manchester United board are facing possible legal action should they not put Malcolm Glazer's revised £800 million takeover offer to all the shareholders.

The Daily Telegraph understands that on Friday several members of the United board met Joel Glazer, son of Malcolm, whose bid would give shareholders 300p per share.

One investor told me: "If it is a fair price and the Glazers do not want to change the business then we as shareholders have the right to consider what he has to offer."

Some of these investors are believed to have taken legal advice and could take the board to court should they reject Glazer out of hand.

Anyway our reserves have claimed the reserve title. :) :rockman:

Reserves clinch FAPRL

FA Premier Reserve League
Manchester United 3
Wolverhampton Wanderers 0
Old Trafford, Manchester

Manchester United are champions of the Barclays FA Premier Reserve League North after beating Wolves at Old Trafford.

The comfortable victory, twinned with the 3-1 defeat of nearest rivals Manchester City at bottom-placed Nottingham Forest, gives United their second Reserves title of the season.

The tie was switched to Old Trafford due to a waterlogged pitch at Altrincham's Moss Lane, and United began the game brightly.

David Bellion raced clear after seven minutes before coolly slotting home after skipper David Jones' fine through ball.

Jones then doubled the hosts' lead 13 minutes later, rounding the Wolves keeper before eventually firing into the empty net.

The two scorers combined again just before the hour mark to confirm the result, as Bellion once more raced onto a Jones through-ball before clipping home with great aplomb.

Substitute Phil Bardsley had a goal harshly ruled out for offside shortly after Bellion's second strike as the Champions eased through the final half hour.

Having already wrapped up the Pontin's League title, the Reds can now look forward to cup finals against Manchester City and Sheffield Wednesday in the coming weeks.

They will also face Southern FAPRL champions Charlton in a play-off to determine the country's best reserve side.

United team: Heaton, Picken, Lawrence, Evans (Bardsley, 46), McShane, Miller (Fox, 60), Bellion, D Jones, Heath, Rossi, Martin (Marsh, 67).
Subs not used: Lee, R Jones.

Eey guys this is what united should do to be the champ next years of maybe win the champion’s league. United must be sell to an rich person. The next step is sign rio for 5 more years. Buy Essien or diara as replace for Keano. If some one buys them then we can get new players and make the old Trafford larger to 100.000 seats. So if they do this they could win the league and the champions cup right?

Just like he did with Tampa Bay?

Glazer is NOT RICH, he doesnt even have the money to buy the club for ****s sake. And even when a billionaire whose richer then Roman will come, i still dont want him.I dont want to see how the board will sell the soul of the club.

oussimoes

Youth Team
But why you dont want that our soul will be sold. thats better than be the 20 on the list. i have watch united for years but when they ingnored the bid that ambromovich give them i now that united will be broke in pieces. and when keenan left i now this is the end. so some one must buy us to save the club.

I understand why you say that but whats better be weak an let chelsea win times and times or be sold to some one and broke chelsea in pieces.

by the way where do you live?

United fans want to see the team playing with spirit, but not getting the champion because of buying many stars with huge amount of money. We are not bankrupt now so we dont need any zillionaire to buy and ruin our club.

btw, your sig is too big oussimoe. ;)

Your either a wind-up merchant, or you literally have no clue about this takeover and the consequences for the football club and English football. I'd rather United become mid-table than be owned by that old yank twat.

Don't waste your time with this know-nothing idiot, fellas.
